"Collected a pizza from the Celtic Point dominoes tonight. There were four young men making the pizzas. Not a single one of them was wearing any gloves, even after repeatedly looking at their phones, rubbing their hair etc. I’m no expert, but I’m pretty sure this isn’t the most hygienic way to make food for the public. You would think that management would be all over this, but given the attitude of the workers tonight, I doubt anyone cares! Personally I won’t be ordering from here again."

"We went here with friends on Thursday evening at 6pm. It was busy and had a nice vibe about it. The staff were lovely and the food was absolutely delicious. There is an outdoor area but it was too chilly to sit out. Will definitely visit again. I need to eat gluten free as I am a coeliac and this was no problem at all for them. The chips were some of the best I have ever tasted. Thank you."

"Since deli and dine we have always decided to eat here when we dive into retford. We used to have a delicious meal. today I went with a friend and my partner here with his daughter to separate times. When we met later, we all said how disappointed we were. Yes, they were short staff, but eating was not up to its previous standard, it was just ok. compared to what it was earlier. eating seemed not of good quality, it was badly presented. very simple. the toilets were inadmissible and not hygienic. the good was the personal. a shame. I just hope they'll come back to their old standards."

"We had been visiting The Grey Horses for about a year each week and were happy to pay for the average and expensive food as it is the only pub in the village serving food. The staff were previously quite friendly and efficient. The owner/manager started to do the waiting on and that is when things changed. He was rude, unfriendly and very unwelcoming the last few times we were in. The food which was previously ok now left a bad taste…. Please avoid- unless you fit in with the local clique"

"Travelled here for my birthday other side of Doncaster for a meal 6 of us. Friends had told us it was a lovely place. Despite a long wait to have our order taken and asking multiple times as they must have only certain staff that can do this , it was busy too Sunday afternoon. However, everything else was perfect. The table , the food and menu was amazing. Such a shame it rained as kids wanted to play outside as lovely beer garden and play area. We will definitely come back as it was lovely and staff nice too."

"This is a hidden gem in the middle of Worksop. From when you walk through the arched walkway you feel like your in Italy. We visited as family for a birthday and all the meals were lovely. Recommend the lasagne. Well worth the money and would recommend a visit."

"Woaaah now, what a find! A beautiful pub and restaurant with beautiful surroundings. They had a separate vegan menu and everything sounded delicious. The server immediately told us what was missing on the menu (not much thankfully), and everyone that served us was extremely polite and attentive. We shared the mushrooms on sourdough for the starter which was plenty. We both had the vegan pie, potatoes, veg and gravy for the main; a huge serving! I feel like they could get away with serving less but I wasn't complaining, it was very nice. We then had the chocolate devil cake and chocolate orange tray bake slice to go and they were both delicious too. Add in two soft drinks and the bill was around £60, very good value for portion size and taste. We will be back very soon!"

"Been here a few times in the evening but today was the first time we’d been for Sunday lunch. Wow! The complimentary pizza slices with bolognese whilst we were waiting was just great. The breaded shrimp and the bruschetta, just divine; especially the broccoli and lemon sauce accompanying the shrimp. The lasagne that followed was sublime but the roast pork, Italian style......what a triumph! Served in a huge bowl, tender slices of pork with rosemary on a bed of courgette, carrot and onion, five proper roast spuds; all in a rich meaty gravy with lashings of olive oil. I don’t like spinach and am not keen on broccoli, but we agreed that the spinach and broccoli cannelloni was the dish of the day. Rich but light with lots of Parmesan and tomato to supplement the beautiful cannelloni filling. Dessert? Not a chance after that lot! The Montepulciano Abbruzo went down well again, with the log fires keeping us warm, toasty and nicely relaxed. What a place this is! Great food cooked by Maurice, fabulous service from Sam and Sara and great craic from the locals. We will be back; again and again, no doubt."
