"Drove an hour for a chippy at the sea, looked at happy cow her vegan menu, so drove here first to get, forget to order in advance, but we went to the pub had a drink and then went back half an hour later and it was finished! .... ordered thunderstorms, 2 soyworst and chips and it was enough for 2 of us! nice! vegan gravitation and muddy heap! was delicious! would they highly recommend! Just remember to make calls to order if they don't want to wait as they fry in different friier! could expand to make vegan fish! then would be excellent! updated by previous review on 2019-07-07"

"Wow! came here with 2 carnivores and was so courteous! vegan breakfast with toast was such a great part at a reasonable price. so delicious and we really enjoyed it!"

"After reading one of my blog post vegan reviews someone suggested we try the Nut and Nettle so we did. We had a ride over to Brid, parked up and walked through the town. As we turned into the High Street it was like stepping back in time then into the Nut and Nettle to a delightful and warm welcome. The young lady brought the lunchtime menu all vegan of course. My wife and I both had the focaccia sandwich when it came the overall plate didn’t look a big portion, but it turned out to be absolutely perfect. To finish I had the kid’s hot chocolate (I’m a big kid at heart so felt I qualify) with vegan marshmallows. What a treat. Can’t wait to go back!!"

"It is very easy to miss the fact that EVERYTHNING is vegan in and about this shop studio! What else do you want? What Planetwise sells: snacks, chilled items, frozen items, new ethical clothing, revised upcycled clothing, books (second and new), fresh products from the local Transition Town Allotment, a huge gluten-free series that is clearly marked, beauty products, household items, a refill station for common products, art from local artists, dried food, the largest selection of tea known to exist, all milk alternatives, SO leaks! The people who run are some of the most helpful people you will ever meet. If there is something you are after they try their best to store it for you. The studio (from experience pre-Covid) offers an amazingly comfortable and safe place for all classes and gathering you visit. Prices are realistic and good. I occasionally volunteered in this business as it was opened over 4 years ago. It is undoubtedly the cornerstone of the community, and not only for the local vegans and vegetarians. If you are in the area, then stop to support the business and get something nice. I cannot evaluate Planetwise and the owner Mary enough!"

"The freeman cookhouse pub is the restaurant for premier inn customers stay next door and as with numerous premier inn connected restaurants, vegan options were two main courses but no starter or dessert. discover the allergen list and two suppen are vegan, depending on what is suppe of the day, as well as margherita flatbread without mozzarella. I checked the weeping list and as with most places, no vegan friendly wee were highlighted and yet a fast Google search gave a pretty smashed sauvignon blanc. the soup and mint soup with brown bloomer brot was hot pierced, with a beautiful texture, full taste and for £2,99 an absolute bargain. Hubby ordered vegan burgers, with a tomato flatcake and sweet potatoes for me and since there was no vegan cheese, I had some violife mozzarella in my bag. Hubby loved his burger with his BBQ topping and with added cheese he said it was skurril and gave him the great thumbs above. my flatbread was excellent with a fabulous basic and tomato sauce, in which did better than many Italian restaurants I have been and with the addition of cheese I was a happy vegan. sham cookhouse pub are not more specific about possible vegan options such as suppe and flatbread and offers vegan cheese would appeal to more customers like the milk or lactose intolerance. I can't understand why they don't have vegan friendly weine so many vegans just not buying from wein as it can be laborious to do a Google search."
