"My friend and I were in bristol and decided to take a lunch in Pizza Express. with my friend being vegan, we had a quick look at the menu in the window to check if there are some vegan options and noticed a few,...so decided to go into the inner. when entering the restaurant was clean and modern, but quite simple, it is quite a big restaurant with many tables, so we did not have to wait. once sitting, we were offered a separate vegan menu that had a great choice of options for our surprise. there were at least 10 pizzas and several appetizers, sides and desserts. we decided to share two different pizzas, so it went for the vegan ad astra and the vegan giardiniera. the service was fast and efficient during our meal and when the waitress took our order, she mentioned there was a offer on a free side of teig balls when they spend £10 when they use their app! So we have two portions of teig balls, one with hummus and one with a tomato-harrisa-dip. eating was fast and delicious and the vegan mozzarella was one of the best we had in a restaurant. the price of pizzas was quite reasonable and with the free teig balls also, it was definitiw the price worth. Overall, I would highly recommend trying their vegan pizzas as their cheese was very nice. eating is reasonable, the service was fast and they can go for everyone."

"If there is a better vegan breakfast in North Bristol, I would like to know where it is. They make massive bladder and squeak butter, which are like Pakoras, there are also green, gazed potatoes, beans, roasted tofu, mushrooms, tomatoes and a sausage. Bring an appetite or it will defeat you..."

"The personal was absolutely brilliant, went out when you left to make us extra fillings for our sandwiches when they had run out. this review comes to my other left on the shell garage subway, which was appalling. so big thanks to the staff here for so polite and helpful, the sandwiches were really good too"

"A sweet little caffe right at the end of Christmas steps. they have a large selection of cakes and a small number of seats. I tried her donut was unfortunately somewhat disappointed as the texture was hard and not as fluffy as I expected, although the filling was delicious. the carrot and courgett cake was more a mossque than they bite in them than a damp cake I didn't like. I would come back to try some of the other cakes. update 12/4/22: again visited and tried their chocolate and beetroot cake absolutely delicious. perfect level of sweet, cake was moist with great taste. upgraded to 4 stars."

"Absolutely delicious food, prices were as you would expect for food of this quality. Nice decor and atmosphere too. However, this place would have got 5 stars if it weren't for the fact we waited around 45 minutes for our main course and seeing later diners served their food before us was annoying. Considering the prices I expected better service especially on my first visit, but there were a few apologies too many that made it feel really awkward for me. A very generous 3 stars based on the good food and drink."

"The boys in Hamblins could not have been more friendly or generous and friendly. A sausage for my dog and her wonderful homemade Tatar sauce as well as a cup of the Feezer cold sparkling water on a flowering day. Can't recommend it very much."
