"Early dinner in Burnsville, NC at this local pizza joint. My husband and I ordered the build your own pizzas. We were extremely satisfied with the turnout. Pizza was cooked perfectly. The building houses a local brewery, the pizza place hamburger joint downstairs. We only had the pizza, however, the menu had lots more. Another plus to this place? very reasonable prices. We certainly recommend this place."

"I had a hard time to give this place 3 stars because there are only so many possibilities. I think they're so close to being great, but it could be improved as the step to melt the cheese before it serves. I and my partner both got a waffle and when they came out, they were not so warm, and everything on them seemed somehow raw. I was skeptical the raw onion on one of them, but it actually ended up a delicious combination with the bacon and cheese. However, the room temperature cheese was rather disappointing, especially with everything (except the waffle) apparently uncooked. Melting the cheese and serving it warm would make it so much better. The ivories are better and have more taste in my opinion (and they can be balanced with the sweetness from the syrup), while the sweet, it is simply sweet on sweet. The marshmallows and the chocolate chips are raw, not melted, as I expected. This can cause it to be dry and a bit bland. I found that I had to use the syrup to add something for the texture if I wish it would come with something else to balance the sweet, or another texture element (instead of dry/unmelted marshmallows and choco chips on bread). If I had believed a waffle again, I would come back and ask them to melt the cheese before serving. I love that she's such a huge vegan menu and I want to support her. TLDR: All in all, I enjoyed the hearty, much more than the sweet, but I wish they would melt the cheese and serve it warm. Updated by previous rating on 2022 04 03"

"These is the ugly truth about this ?restaurant? ? it?s not a restaurant but something like a dirty food cart. 3 or so tables and dishes are not coming in plates but rather in styrofoam boxes. Extremely expensive for the quality"

"My husband and I finally decided to try this place after driving by it often. My husband loves sushi me, not at all, but I noticed their online menu offered other items as well (lettuce wraps, donburi). Walked in the restaurant and stood at the hostess counter. There was only one other party dining and no one came to seat us so we finally just took a seat on our own.The restaurant seemed fairly clean but there was an overwhelmingly odd smell like vinegar or something. Not sure what it was, just odd. We waited for several minutes before we were brought waters and menus. To my surprise the whole menu was just sushi and poke bowls. No lettuce wraps. No donburi. We again wait several more minutes before we were checked on for what we wanted to order. I 'm not one to create conflict so I didn 't question where the non sushi items were and ordered an orange chicken roll as it had no fish. Plus it seemed like we may have had a language barrier with our server. We also were never offered any other drinks, nor do I recall seeing drinks on the menu. The other diners only had water. We also watched another couple come in, sit down and wait, get their waters and menus, and then walk out minutes later. Maybe they too were disappointed by the sushi and poke only menu.Anyways, when the food did come it certainly looked great. I can 't speak to the fish sushi but it certainly looked fresh and well presented. My husband said it tasted okay . I ate the inner parts of my orange chicken roll which was cut up panko breaded chicken and a piece of red pepper covered in orange chicken sauce the chicken was very crispy and tasty. I would have loved to have had it in a non sushi type application.My husband and I agree I don 't think we 'd go back. The service was lacking and the food was just alright. We have other and (in my opinion) better choices for Japanese and sushi in the area as well."

"I love little local coffee shops. We got the coffee smoothie which was a nice twist on the popular cold blended drinks from any coffee shop. The drink tasted good, was reasonably priced, and service was friendly. The only knock is the atmosphere inside could improve pretty meaningfully."

"Had been brunch here on May 23 with a worker. this place was found with the happycow app. beautiful place in burnsville. I had the vegan steward with potatoes. the food was good, but the tofu share was small for the price of $15.50, but they are organic. my fellow worker loved her waffel. the place has a beautiful ambiente, sitting outdoors and offers mimosas. I wonder if the bloody mary is vegan. "

"Brought here by a dear friend and coworker. I was told it was one of the best burgers he?s had. Needless to say, I can?t disagree. The burger tasted great and was cooked perfectly, but those fries. Make sure you get one of the variations of seasonings?makes them taste excellent. The tap beer is also excellent. We will definitely be back. The staff was super friendly and made the experience so much fun. Not often you find upbeat and happy staff nowadays."
