"Very friendly staff and hunter! the Veg soup was top notch could have easily eaten another bowl and the chocolate tea with coconut ice was one of the best vegan gloomy I ever had. they had milk for coffee, but apparently not always, so maybe only a happy day was for me."

"We order the 14” mega deal from the Carrickfergus branch regularly. We get a 14” pizza, chicken goujons, curly fries garlic pizza bread. We add a 7” plain ham for one of our fussy kids lol. Today we ordered a 7” pepperoni and asked for it to be well done. The young girl (Abbie) taking the phone order was very pleasant and helpful. She kindly suggested a thin base. Great customer service!"

"Previous experience here has been good but my latest visit to the Central Bar was really poor. The whole place is run down. The tables and floors were dirty, there was dust sitting on most surfaces, the front door glass was covered in grubby fingerprints and the decor has seen better times, a long time ago! JD Wetherspoon leave plenty of magazines on the tables with details of their classy premises across the water but these only emphasise how poor this place has become. With Covid still prevalent there was also very little evidence of any precautions being taken. It's time JD sort this place out or else get out. It's embarassing."
