"General Our almost two-hour city tour through Edenkoben ended on the Schafsplatz in the heart of the “Ludwigstädtchens”. In the immediate vicinity of the Schafsplatz we returned to fourth in the RIALTO. Owner is family Sala; the small ice cream parlour has been in Edenkoben since 1958, in 1989 the founder of the ice cream parlour, Virgilio Sala, gave the RIALTO to his daughter Paola and son-in-law. The two were still behind the vault, really very friendly and visibly with joy at work. They proudly gave me information on the history of the “ice salon” and the different glacial creations. A comprehensive redesign and renovation of the two small rooms of the ice cream parlour was completed only a few months ago, in time for the 2015 season: seating modern stylish, but comfortable, the walls brightly painted, decorated with art prints from Canaletto as a reminiscent of the named bridge in Venice, Mediterranean lightness to feel good. You can also sit on the terrace overlooking the Schafsplatz. Beverages/ice We had first served twice the Espresso Doppio, strong Italian, stylish with small water glass, a delicious cappuccino and an ice cream coffee. Then we dedicated ourselves to the ice cream counter, about 20 ice creams from our own production, presented in an appealing manner. And how to be insured, made without artificial aromas or preservatives. This is also tasted, the ice cream is nice creamy creamy and not watery. We have tried pistacia, chocolate, strawberry and nuts, a wonderful cold treat that demands repetition. The ball is calculated with 0.90€ as well as the drinks fair and moderate. Faced, but not sampled – perhaps next time – the following enticements were found among others in the ice cream cafe: chocolate chili, bourbon vanilla, mascarpone with forest fruits, white chocolate with pink pepper, Stracciatella orange, various fruit varieties and and and and and. I forgot to ask what is actually in the Ice Creation Opera Italiana. Conclusion: creatively tasty ice cream creations from their own production. We'll be back."
