"We pre-ordered dinner in the afternoon for later the same day. The menu clearly indicated which dishes are vegan 素 . The staff were accommodating and had our dishes ready on time. The portion size for three dishes was a bit too small for my omni dad’s appetite, so my parents ordered a chicken dish for themselves. He also skipped lunch. I felt like the cabbage was too greasy, but the day lilies and mushrooms tasted good. They use disposable rice bowls, cups, and chopsticks, so BYO if you want to avoid generating trash. Beer is available from the self-service fridge. Our room was quite small, and they don’t have reusable towels: only the paper ones. Wouldn’t stay here again."

"We tried to grab lunch from a nearby B&B, but no one was there. Good thing this spot looked staffed and eventually welcomed several additional parties. I just told the staff that I wanted a vegan meal, and they recommended that I get the daylily set meal in a vegan version. It came with six dishes, a soup, and white rice. Very filling! I just wish more of the dishes had daylilies in them. The pineapple and ginger side dish was really appetizing: the two ingredients were quite synergistic. Restrooms outside, but no soap at the sinks. At least there’s a bottle of alcohol to sanitize your hands with in the dining area. If you need to refill your water bottle to continue hiking, ask the staff at the drink stand. Updated from previous review on 2020-08-18"
