"When we lived in the city we drove to Hicksville to eat here. Now that we have a home in Hicksville we are here at least once a week. Very thoughtful, attentive staff will make sure your food is vegan and remember you the next time you drop in. The dosas are wonderful great presentation and the chana masala with puri is awesome though greasy as it should be. We start with the very spicy rasam soup. I can't recommend this place enough. Is see the other review criticized the decor it has been updated and it is a nice atmosphere."

"I was very pleased with the flavors of the food, atmosphere, and staff. They have a great outdoor seating area with string lights. The staff was friendly, attentive, and kind. "Their healthy eating focus is mostly high protein, low carb and protein smoothies (catering to some gym goers) but they also have a few vegan and vegetarian options which are ok in a pinch simple soup, salad and veg wraps and sweet and regular potato air cooked fries. Nice to have some options, grateful for the veg inclusion on the menu, but for a health conscious vegan looking for some fresh flavorful simple food, just a convenience, not a destination."

"I had the experience of visiting Burger Village today. I got the beef burger with seasoned fries. The establishment was very clean and staff super friendly. However… suffice to say the food was nothing particularly amazing. The burger was decent especially the special sauce. I did however ask for it to be cooked to medium and was met with a leathery well-done burger instead. The fries themselves were crispy and golden so great job there. My mistake was ordering the seasoned variety. I truly believe seasoned fries to be superior… not in this case. They were caked in so much seasoning blend I inhaled some of the powder and choked slightly. The icing on the cake being that my burger and sauces were mixed up with my companion. All in all not thoroughly impressed. Great staff, clean establishment, food could be improved."

"Authentic South India, Chennai Essen. Vegetarian. Tried the Dahi vada (picy lentil donut in flavored dubel sauce) Crisp Ghee Brat dosa with Sambar and Chutney Bursting with taste. Rava dosa with lace like appearance and delicious taste. Spicy masala dosa the hot cousin to the regular dosa. (Dosa -Savory rice and lentil pancakes with 3 different delicious Chutneys and Sambar (split pea or dhal-based herbal stews)"

"Really nice vibes. Clean place and the quality of food were also good. I was also happy with the crowd. Good serving size for the appetizers so you are full enough to eat the main course and the desert. Good service!"
