"This lovely airy cafe spanning inside and out offers an excellent selection of homemade food that's becoming more and more popular as we start to eat healthier. I have recently become a fan of superfoods and all things chickpea which is great but it does...mean treating' myself when I go out. This is the lovely thing about The Project Cafe, the food is mostly salads and snacks and a good selection of desserts and cakes. I had the bulgar wheat salad with caramelized onions, a latte, a glass of mineral water and a piece of lemon drizzle cake. I had had a late appointment so decided that this would be the main meal of the day and I wasn't disappointed! The portions were excellent and very flavoursome. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and had no problem offering to take my food to my table for me as my mobility is challenged and I use a walking aid. The café is situated up a slope which has a considerable incline but if you take it slowly it's not so bad. I will definitely be tackling the slope to return here. I'm so glad to have found it!!"

"I visited the restaurant today with a party of kids and adults as part of my daughter’s birthday celebrations. We had fantastic service from the staff, in particular Michelle and Allan (assistant manger). Allan confirmed our booking in the morning and our table...was ready for us when we arrived. We were greeted by Allan when we arrived and shown to our table. The food arrived quickly and there was very little left on any of the plates! Everyone enjoyed their meals. Our server was Michelle and she was very friendly and good with the kids. We visit this restaurant regularly as a family of and always enjoy it. This is the first time we’ve been in such a large group, and I can’t fault the service or the food."

"It is not surprising that fast eating is so popular when ordering a delicious sandwich/roll with all circumcisions and literally eating it within minutes. in my experience this subway is always busy and has been here for over 12 years. goldmine. the cleanliness of the seating area is questionable."

"I don't live locally, but I drove through coatbridge and when I went, I saw her donator kebab through the window, it looked beautifully not burned, not raw and not drop with fat. I drove to glasgow. returned to house over coatbridge 2 hours. the kebab was just as lousy. we have moved up before the load. I jumped out and ordered king kebab and chips. Oh, my God. these chips are the best chips I had ever lived from a kebab shop, Indian or even Chinese restaurant throughout my life. gold crunchy chips with slightly crunchy and soft fluffy kartoffels in them. they were like molten gold, no other wise to describe how delicious they were. Now they're all gone. the king kebab quality, my eyes clearly do not fool me because kebab meat was absolutely irritating, not greasy, raw or burned only perfectly juicy, correct moisturity and tastefully very tasteful. Where did you get your boss? give him an excellent chief in the British Kebab sector! that kebab shop was an absolute stroke of luck. keep them the excellent work team! very well done! will find an excuse to drive through coatbridge some time! xxx."

"My sisters and I have booked lunch here as we wanted to visit this old hunt from the late 60s. highly recommended, the staff were nice, friendly, attentive and professional a credit to this place. our eating was plentiful and very good quality. I hope to visit sgain soon."

"This page is really reliable for vegan eating, they have three options that can be brilliant for a local pub in tannochside and is more than for the scant options in the pubs in uddingston. eating is batch/premade, but it is a high standard and very good price. the restaurant is clean and a beautiful place to sit and it is family-friendly. I really enjoy going to eat here"

"Great Food. Wandering around New Town 3 hours after arriving for the festival, being overwhelmed by the choice of places to eat could have led to a culinary nightmare but luckily we stumbled upon Hendersons Bistro. We shared a bruschetta and the blue cheese and walnut salad to start. Then I had enchillada while my companion, the veg haggis and clapshot. It was all served promptly , looked and tasted great,. We were tempted by puddings the honey and marscapone cheesecake was delicious and my affagato just enough to round the meal off nicely. All in all a lovely dinner in a busy little room. But they don't need my praises those in the know in Edinburgh, obviously flock to the place....read more"
