"The city of Oberursel has about 45,000 inhabitants and is within the reach of Frankfurt. The whole area is very popular as a place of residence and therefore the rents are relatively high and the purchasing power of the inhabitants is relatively high. Oberursel has a mild climate and the weather is often better than in the Taunus area. Nevertheless, there are few well-known restaurants in the city – however, well-known and popular restaurants are numerous in the neighboring towns. The “Lounge” restaurant itself is called restaurant and cocktail bar. The inn is located in the old railway station of the city and is in the center. U and S Bahn are in close proximity. It is also easy to reach by public transport. Ambiente 3/5 Modern furnishings in old building is my first impression. The counter with the bar setup is immediately in the eye. Next to this area is the food department. An external gastronomy is also part of the concept. There is also an upper floor (not viewed, only the stairs noticed there. We sat at a high table with bar stools/chairs. The tables are relatively close to each other, so it works tightly and is relatively loud when fully equipped. Nevertheless, we found the place quite cozy. The colors of bar lighting and at least one further shield on the wall change continuously. Also large screens with a fireplace fired DVD hung at two or more places. Cleanliness 4/5 Everything worked on us well maintained and neat. Nothing was to put it out. Sanitary 4/5 Expedient, clean, all right. Service 2.5/5 The service has felt longer to wait. We had to address the service personnel themselves so that we were observed. This also did not change: We had to notice the order of the food or beverage reorder.
