"We visited acacia cottage during a stop at the londonperthmelbourne flight, and we are so glad that we managed it! communication before our stay was great. we had arranged a pick-up from the airport, and richard was ready and waiting for us. He went out of the way to show us the different local places we could visit. the bb looks exactly as if it was on the website, and our room was very comfortable and cozy. we received a warm welcome from rae and richard. there were vegan tasty in the refrigerator, and we kindly offered a suppe as we were too tired of our flight to go the jagd to lunch. the next day, after an amazing breakfast, our hosts brought us to the local railway station, so that we will take the train to perth to explore the city. on our return we had cooked a beautiful curry of rae, and spent a pleasant evening on the balcony view over perth, watching bandicoots and papageien in the garden, and aircraft landing at the distant airport. it was great to have vegan hostes who did not give us, no vegan cookies etc., as in the mainstream hotels. if you are looking for a weekend break, a break or a holiday in perth, make sure you look at the acacia cottage!"

"The ice creams here are truly indulgent and definitely worth checking out if you’re into quality, locally made, “healthier” vegan treats. Only downside is they are quite expensive and the serves aren’t massive. About $7 for one scoop in a cup I believe?"

"As a vegan, this place hasn't done me as something special. Had a look and could not see anything for a vegan (for me) or could even be far more attractive than spending my dollar on any other standard "health" café or juice bar. Supposed for a small cold meal or smoothies it could be good. I wouldn't spend my dollar here for a meal. Saw smoothies and a kind of standard cold 'chai/acai' option (as checked in another review) but I have passed this option under all drawn Lamb options etc. Heavy meat and egg based, but would have an option. It's hard to evaluate because I didn't actually make a purchase, but checked out her menu and food cabinet."

"I visited early afternoon on a Saturday which I’ve learnt is not the time to go due to most vegan options being sold out. Although I did get my hands on a jam donut which was a bargain at $2. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area, I would just suggest trying to go earlier rather than later particularly on Saturdays I assume."

"On Saturday we drove to cabin 401 bar grill for lunch with our friends. we were a table of 7 and look forward to the beautiful lunchtime. we ordered our foods and drinks, which are significant, but unfortunately, as my sohn has many heavy allergies (also with trace amounts) we always take lunch with us. This ensures that we do not have to worry about the menus and care for food pollution, etc. in this case we had mc donalds. the ordered drinks came and after delivery the waitress came back and said that my sohne was not allowed to have mc donalds here, and I explained to her about his allergies etc. but she said it was a policy and I just have more."
