"I saw the reviews before, but I thought I want to try it. I am not judging by reviews, but in this case, I must say the reviews are true. For ten years I have been in Japan, I love to eat at a restaurants, but it’s the first time I have given a bad review. The customer service was not existent. We felt not welcomed at all, which is very sad. We came a long way to visit hongu, and were happy when we found this cafe. I understand if the owner made maybe bad experience in the past with guests, but I feel it’s time to stop a restaurant if you can’t welcome new guests with a friendly attitude and smile. The food it’s not worth the money. I like to spend money on food, if the food is good. The food was not delicious, and we paid almost 30,00€ for it. Although I have to say the guy who came out at the end, said thank you and were friendly. Not the woman. I hope you can offer better customer service and food in the future, I am sure more people will come and like it."

"Very cozy and clean guesthouse! loved the hot spring bath and vegan curry! on tomorrow they can enjoy warm rice (okayu) cooked with swell water! from the small tempel and famous tsuboyu onsen, go for about 5 min, then turn right, they will find the place! pamper them in the bathroom!"
