"I visited here with friends and we were warmly welcomed even when we arrived early. all the other tables were filled while we were there, many people have eaten their food significantly, but it never seemed too loud or too busy. the service was attentive and friendly. I really enjoyed my meal, although I am very picky what I eat. there was no hurry and the atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. the negative reviews I've read here do not seem to fit cafe mumbai at all I would definitely go back."

"We were surprised how much meat and animal products the shop stocked as well as the lush looking veg and bread. There were no vegan options at the pie counter (was told there might be some lentil ones in an hour ... so we went to Fat Lemons for food instead). Seems just the same as shopping in any mainstream store as you are surrounded by meat and animal products still."

"There was a vegan pizza on the menu and the chef confirmed all sides were vegan, bar the garlic bread but he made me a vegan version with oil instead of butter. Menu is limited at the moment due to covid, but the pizza was incredible!"

"With so many cafes to choose from in Totnes, we decided to give these guys a try. They are at the top of the main street in Totnes well worth the visit. The staff were lovely and friendly. The coffee was good and good for light bites and smaller meals. If you're hungry or have a tribe of big eaters, you might want to reconsider going here. I had the samosa chat for one and was still hungry after finishing it. My wife had the fennel salad from the Light bites option, and that was probably for a supermodel. My wife is not a big eater, but not really enough for her. The food tasted great and I would go back, as long as I wasn't super hungry. There's a courtyard at the back for a bit more peace and quiet."
