"In recent years eats was one of the few (maybe only) veg options at truckee Thursdays for a real meal. (safe miss red truck and spice normally I remember that they have a small menu with an appetizer and a bowl. when I remember last time I visited her, they served on a tom kha gai -ish kokossuppe with sweet and so. it was good, but not amazing. the vegan option gives the chicken add-on that I have seen in the run of the years is their usual facility. I would have liked something I could add instead of how tofu or tempeh, that would make me much more excited to eat here on Thursday. her website and catering page calls especially veggie / vegan options and protein, I wish they offer one on the lkw (good, pendant, but they know)."

"We were visiting Truckee for the holidays and were excited to see so many delicious-looking vegan options on the menu here! It's a cute place with super friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere (it is incredibly small). We ordered the Spudz, burrito, and burger off the vegan menu. The food came quite quickly and were hefty servings. Everything was okay, but not amazing. The burrito was the most disappointing, as it lacked any seasoning whatsoever. It also came with a large side of plain iceberg lettuce, for some reason. The Spudz were the most tasty dish we got, and were loaded with veggies. It was less of a scramble and more of a saute, though. Probably wouldn't go again, though we were happy the vegan options existed at all."
