"This restaurant is incredible. Had a great experience here, all the way from drinks, food and dessert were great and best presentation ever. Highly highly recommend it. I wish they were in Vancouver as well. I wud just drive here for the night just to eat their food again Service: 5 Location: 5"

"Come July my mind turns to thoughts of licking luscious ice-cream in a cone, something that has become ever more in my thoughts since my grandson was born nine years ago in this month. Today on a sunny and warm mid-July day, I was so...overwhelmed with thoughts of my two grandchildren tucking into ice-cream, that I felt I had to get this cooling treat into their hands one way or another. The solution? Send them money so they can buy an ice cream as soon as they will be allowed to pop in at the neighborhood ice-cream palour, as we used to say in the old country and perhaps a generational time ago. Lucky for them they live fairly close to Ukee Scoops, located in Ucluelet, on Peninsula, the ocean village’s main commercial road. The owner, Carolyn, is warm and friendly and her prices are reasonable and the quality of her ice-cream high. She also serves crepes, both sweet and savory until each day. Ukee Scoops is open from am to Waffles are freshly made and a waffle cone with one scoop of ice-cream is Ukee Scoops also makes ice-cream sandwiches, which cost The ice-cream sandwiches are pre-made and each day there is a selection of flavours to choose from. As our family lucky number is as my granddaughter was born on and my son and daughter-in-law were born just after noon at I sent interestingly configured and with the aim, too, of arithmetically challenging them with two Canadian and two each. "So for New Years we decided on Fetch Restaurant. What a way to ring in the New Year!! Dang that little Tuna nipple to start, just sent my mouth on a roller coaster of sheer delight! The atmosphere was sublime! The staff was so comfortable, friendly, professional and once again Smiles! So many smiles, thy what truest wins me over. The Chef even came out and discussed the menu with us. Everyone and everything was perfect!! I would strongly recommend these experience to anyone in the future. Was told that the restaurant is going with a new “Local Menu”. I’ll have to come back and SEA what creations will be plated!"

"Spent a sunny afternoon on the outdoor patio with a view of the water below. Staff were friendly and helped with vegan options (which are also clearly marked on the menu). The Falafel Wrap was shredded carrot and beet, mango chutney, pickled red onion, arugula and tahini. I was pleasantly surprised by the falafel which was unlike any other I’ve tried before. Would definitely order again. Also offered a Farro Bowl, Greens Bowl, Stuffed Olives and tortilla chips with house made salsa."

"I’ve had a lot of pizza in my life and this is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! If you like wood burning pizza, you’ll love this pizza! We got the Diavola the Pepperoni pizza and both were excellent!"

"We were there twice for breakfast and it was always full but still it was quick. it has been a joy to see the young people working behind the scenes. everything is prepared with much love. the selection of self-produced feeds is very large. there are not very many seats but we also have standing in or on a wooden bench in front of the local very well fallen. who doesn't mind it is very well served here. we would go back at any time, a fantastic alternative to infallible breakfast buffets in the hotels."

"We landed in Ucluelet on a wet Wednesday in August. We checked Happy Cow and the vegan options were very limited. We believed in Frankie’s and asked if they had something to say vegan, "yes, we have afterlife meat sausages" They came with salad and vegan poutine. I had only Fritten and Gravy with him (not a lover of Daiya cheese). Other vegan options were salads and pommes. I know this may not be so good, but Ucluelet is SO limited. This was a jewel of a fund and the best food I had on the island all week. Beer was good too!"
