"Had the vegan lasagna and hubby had the vegan cheeseburger both tasted amazing. Lasagna was probably one of the best lasagna I've had apart from my Nonna's. Cheeseburger tasted just like a cheeseburger so YUM"

"Ordered the Chicken Carbonara.The description was good.Chicken, bacon, mushroom and fresh herbs with pasta in a white wine and cream sauce. $18.50. I have no truck with the white wine and cream sauce, although I suspect the white wine was minimal and cheap. Getting to the chicken, I found one small piece in my large serve. A little luckier with the bacon. Being generous I'd guess one small rasher. Again being generous with my estimate of the mushroom, one very small field mushroom. Herbs. Well this is where I have a real issue. There was not one speck of green in this dish. Dinky Di Poms would love this dish, no sign of anything green. Pasta! This is where the dish excelled. More pasta than you could poke a fork at. Don't expect it to be fresh, just dried packet stuff boiled up. Needless to say, I won't be back anytime soon."

"We waited for over an hour for an omelette!! After we had previously asked the staff twice where our food was, after people who came in after us got their food before us. No apologies from the staff at all. Food was good but such poor service. There is clearly no management or structure which is disappointing."

"Lunch yesterday. Unequivocally short staffed. Wait staff apologized many times for the delays. We didn't receive our soft drinks for almost 30mins. We shared an entree Italian beef meatballs. Meatballs were tastless and dry. MAINS The Herdy Burger, the patty was tastless. Steak Sandwich was full of flavour. Meat tender. Chicken schnitzel was tender delicious. Slaw very bland. We are regulars at The Herdy meals have been consistently great. Sadly yesterday was hit miss."

"We came with family who seemed to know the owners and were pleased with our choice of food and the delicious, local, wine. Service was sharp and polite and we all left feeling that we had eaten well and for a reasonable cost."
