"A very basic place with the focus on the food I highly recommend the Laksa but pretty well everything on the menu is good and ensure, for those spice lovers, to crank it up! Staff are friendly and efficient which is a plus!"

"Ordered assorted Laksa, portion wise was ok, a bit salty and strong, but in general it's good. Price for noodle and rice is at least $13. Rice was quite big. Friends ordered curry rice and they said it's good. This restaurant is another branch of the one in NE. More option for different cuisine in China Town."

"I really like this restaurant but today I was really unsatisfied with the food. I ordered Shahi paneer with tandoori routes. When my dish came the gravey for shahi paneer was very thin almost like water, and paneer cubes were not cooked with the gravy....They were added on the top with cream, really disappointed with them, it killled all of my expirence today."

"I love this place! They do primarily take-out Indian and Thai food. They are located in the Calgary Farmers market. You can get their fresh products and either eat it there or take it home or they sell frozen containers to make later. If you buy 4 frozen the 5th is free. We always have some in our freezer. They also sell rice, naan, and you can pre-order a tandoori chicken. This place is restaurant quality Indian food at very affordable and convenient prices."

"Whilst on vacation in Calgary, we found this small restaurant purely by chance and went in to get a take out menu. The fabulous smell of the curry was enough to make us try it and thank goodness we did. We chose a lamb curry and a chicken curry with rice and a nan bread. The portions were huge for the two of us, the taste was fantastic. Value for money was superb. Needless to say we went back again, this time taking only one curry with some samosas, rice and nan. Once again the taste was superb. We LOVE Indian food and rarely find the chance to have some when on vacation in North America. Thank you Spice Hut for a real treat..... Just hope lots of people come here. You and your food deserve it!!!!"

"Great famly run Indian takeout. It's not cheap but it's worth every penny. The butter chicken is amazing and always available. Some of their other dishes are just as good but the menu varies day to day. If you're lucky they'll have aloo gobi the night you visit. Their veggie samosas are delicious. Call ahead if you want your order ready at a specific time."
