"On a nice little square off the main touristic tracks there are a handful of small beautiful restaurants. Kastoori, the Indian restaurant was our option. Excellent atmosphere and great food including good offer for vegetarians. You have to bring your own alcohol, but...there are small shops just around the corner. Service is friendly and efficient. Highly recommended."

"Friendly staff, nice stylish atmosphere. They seemed to know about veganism and only brought us one thing with yogurt in it (I asked about every dish they brought). The Roti and Chutney's (observing for the not vegan) were excellent. Otherwise the food was about 2 out of 5. Pretty standard potatoes and chickpeas with lots of oil. What is remarkable here is, we have specifically asked the server to recommend things without potatoes in it, but all we got, including the suggested mixed vegetable curry dish that was 50% potatoes. This has left the impression that the staff was friendly, but not necessarily concerned about our meal. We have the matar mushroom, a vegetable beryani and mixed vegetables. Everything was good. Disappoint. We hoped from the other reviews that it could be excellent. I say 3 stars because the atmosphere is beautiful if you don't care about the food."
