"We order avo salmon salad and brown rice california rolls. Those are really good. Brown rice rolls was good alternative then. We didnt order drink. When we almost finished our meal, the lady shop owner came at surprise and brought out 2 glasses of cold water for us. such a good treat in a scorching hot summer day."

"The Veg Biryani was extremely good. More so, the Mango Lassi was the best we have ever had. Its a small place in the basement food court of the Queen Victoria building ( I think its below Pitt Street Station). Highly recommeneded"

"My favourite cafe in Maroubra. Excellent food and coffee and as a barista I'm impressed that the machine is all manual (as it should be). For those who are determined to ruin great coffee with decaf, soy, vanilla syrup ect , Chalk has a generous no-charge policy for all of your ridiculous add-ons. Lovely Mexican decor and service, will continue to be a favourite!"

"Just ok for the amazing selection. Their Thai fish cakes were wonderful so were disappointed the other dishes didn’t add up. The shrimp pad Thai was saucy but very bland as was their spicy green beans. In addition their green beans came with pork bits that were especially salty. Price was good however so maybe ok for take out from their front window deli."

"We had ordered food for taking and eating was very sub standard that must happen, and I will admit that this was the first time that this happened, I am a more frequent visitor to this place and had no bad experience, the problem now and the reason that prompted me to write this review is when I had called them to give one. feedback, they were not willing to accept the feedback that has upset me. there are great mistakes, and no one can be a perfect cook always, finally we know how difficult it is to master the art of cooking, it is the attitude that counts. To be honest, I never expected that from them and would never go back to their restaurant."
