"Tea served in paper cups. Asked twice for water and still none. Place was empty for lunch, warning sign. Only had one menu available for a party of four. No buffet anymore. Interior is a joke. Very ghetto inside. Ceiling vents haven been cleaned since 1972.First 2 peoples dish came out then the other 2 came out 30 min later. And the order still didn't all make it here. This place is an absolute joke.Server never came back after leaving the plates.Never getting dragged here again I hope!"

"This is my absolute very favorite restaurant in all of Bakersfield and the Kern River Valley at that. Being vegetarian, we always have such a long list of choices from visually beautiful and amazingly delicious dishes, and we love that you can choose your level of spiciness… Almost creating a whole different dish every time. The prices are so affordable, allowing us to order a few times a week. We really miss being able to dine in at this time seeing as the service is top notch and we really miss seeing the smiling familiar faces there. We are truly blessed to live right up the street and this hidden Bakersfield gem. Do yourself a favor and visit this place...and then visit it over and over again, because I assure you you will never get tired of the delicious Indian spices, flavors, tastes, aromas and vibes coming out of this wonderful little place!"
