At Nepal House And Bar in Baltimore, flavorful barbecue is freshly prepared on an open flame and garnished with flavorful sides, this sports bar is a favourite among the visitors, who enjoy not only the fantastic food and drinks, but also the opportunity to watch the latest games or races on the big TV. After the meal (or during it), you can still relax at the bar with a alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink.

"I ordered ahead for a delivery to my work. The driver called just before he arrived to let me know he'd be at the main entrance. He arrived approximately 10 mins ahead of the scheduled time. The food arrived hot and the order was accurate. I ordered the cheeseburger sub and mozzarella sticks. The cheeseburger sub was quite good. The meat to toppings ratio was perfect in my opinion. The mozzarella sticks were the chunky kind that are more like a smooth batter instead of breadcrumbs. I prefer these kind so I was super happy. My colleague said the pizza was very good too. They ordered a supreme and it was topped with plenty of toppings. All in all, a very good experience. I would order delivery again from here."

"Truly our favorite Indian food in all of Baltimore. The vast majority of our orders are takeout so please excuse the poor picture quality but this food is delicious and consistent every time and is priced right. Additionally the staff is always delightful to interact with. Couldn?t recommend them more strongly. Note the extra wrapping on our chicken momo sauce to make sure it doesn?t spill in the bag just a nice little touch."

"On a business trip to Baltimore I wanted to find a local Indian resturant and found Darbar. The staff at the resturant were really nice and helpful. Coming from Europe I asked if they had a similar dish to a bhuna, my favourite dish, the gentleman walked me through the best dishes on the menu and even said he would make me a bhuna if I wanted one. The food we had was very delicious, I recommend this resturant and will definitely be back!"

"The whole meal was okay. At the time of our reservation there were only two more tables. My guest and I sat right away. The hostess did not ask us for a cocktail order. The owner came to the table to take our order. Only then did we put our order for drinks. The only criticism. I ordered a lamb dish and revived a chicken dish."

Small but fine, this Bistro impresses not only with its ambiance, but also with its assortment of the typical, delicate meals at the typically small prices.

"You don 't come here for the atmosphere there isn 't enough here to even call this a 'joint ' you come here for the food. Nepalese Indian and I 'm not enough of an expert to tell you the difference, but it 's all delightful and masterfully prepared. Bonus points for the extensive menu which, for this amateur gourmand, is impressive given the scope and variety of the offerings. The staff is uniformly polite and quite helpful. If I must impose a suggestion on you, dear reader, and here I will, you should, when asked, request they spice the dishes on the higher end of the scale as it will make all and sundry more flavorful without overpowering the palette."

"One of the best value Indian lunch buffet options Attentive, fair patient service, lower cost 13$ a person for weekday lunch for a decent variety of entree options before adding the fact the weekday buffet includes masala chai, 2 dessert options and basic fruits, soup and 3 types of bread including the typical buffet complimentary naan . Saag dish was brighter/lighter color green and tasted good, either using more cream or cooking the spinach for a shorter time to let the flavor shine through. Masala chai has sweet/unsweet options tastes just as good as some coffee shop’s, the creaminess sweetness helping cut/complement the strong spiced tea flavor for 1st time masala chai drinkers. Only caveats are some dishes. All of the sauces/entrees have good seasonings. Unlike any other Indian buffets,’ the gulab jamun here tasted like it wasn’t freshly made inside color was darker compared to the light yellow white color other places’ has, had less of the desired creamy/cheesy flavor, and was overly saturated with the sweet syrup which was a shame. Overall, I’d come back to this place to try the new buffet dishes other reviews suggest. If you don’t feel like sitting down for the tea service, you can still stop by pick out food from the weekday buffet to fill a small lunchbox for 15$. Great for tasting a wider variety of Indian dishes with a smaller but quality staff."
