"This is a fabulously located restaurant. On a nice day, the views are unbeatable and the place has charm. The food on this visit was just not up to the mark. The vegetable soup that two of our party had was watery, thin, and tasteless. The restaurant menu says that Le Relais specialises in rostis. However, for such a specialist place, the two that our party ordered were both disappointing. They were greasy and arrived with very gloupy onion sauce. Good rostis should be crisp and crunchy. These were not. The salad bar was good but contained too much tinned vegetables beans, vinegared beetroot and sweet corn) for our party's liking. I had the steak du porc which was actually very nice: nice mushroom sauce and a lot of vegetables. It was only a pity that my chips nicely cooked and fresh) only arrived once I had finished everything else. So not a great review. Great location but food could be better. Service was a bit erratic as well. Why can't lunchtime food orders arrive at the same time rather than in phases over a 5 minute period?!!"
