"So we came here for dinner once and were quite underwhelmed with the vegan options they could defiantly improve here. However we soon discovered that although the breakfast menu has no specified vegan options, it is possible to have an amazing vegan breakfast here! We basically just ordered all of the vegetable sides so had hash browns, sautéed spinach, mushrooms, beans and avocado and then some sourdough bread (without the butter) they also have soy milk so coffees too! It ended up the best morning meal we have had in Bali and what’s better, instead of brining everything out on lots of side plates, they plated it all together so was a proper meal. Would recommend them to just make this a breakfast option in its self! Obviously this tactic can be a bit risky due to possible contamination etc but depends on how ridged you are. Each side was 15k idr (and that includes the tax which a lot of places don’t to) so no nasty surprises when you get the bill!"

"Really good food and service even in down pouring rain conditions.. the steak was lovely and cooked to rare perfection. I love the kitchen is out front so ypu get all the smells and delights straight up. Will defo return."

"Had scrambled tofu and avocado on bread with cherry tomatoes! Super filling and yum. They have salt and pepper on the table which is perfect if u like it a little bit more flavorful. The iced coffee with soy milk was good as well. Also: the vegan brownie is amazing!! It’s really busy and you queue in the beginning and pay upfront. I didn’t mind waiting since u have to read the menu first anywayonce you have ordered u find urself a seat and take ur number with you. I didn’t have to wait long for my food!"

"Large selection of delicious food, plenty of tempeh and tofu. The cheapest option is rice or noodles, 2 pages (such as plant proteins) and 2 vegetable choices, 24K if I remember correctly. Beverages are also very cheap, 12K for iced tea, 20 for fresh coconut, although they wrap them in Cling movie. but they use paper straws! Super beautiful atmosphere and interior. It has a great mood, it is delicious and it is cheap. Would give 5 stars when HappyCow leave me (4 stars is maximum if the place is full vegetarian or vegan)"

"My man and I want to share a very strong recommendation for anyone who thinks vinnys for eating or catering. we are more vegan who recently planned a high time for 35 people in bali. after reviewing the suggested menus of many providers, we realized that there are not many strong options for vegan catering from the larger companies. we found vinny in our search for a catererer, as specialized in vegan, and we are so happy we did! she was such a pleasure to work with from beginning to end, even over distance. always fast, clear and friendly in communication. thoughtful and delicious menus. there are a few fusion items, but the kitchen concentrates on unique Indonesian aromes made all plant-based. it was exactly what we hoped and did to make a fair price. when we arrived the week before our high season, we also visited the restaurant to make a tasting. we were very happy to find that eating was as delicious as we introduced ourselves and the restaurant personal are professional and very friendly. about the catering experience it was completely trouble-free and employees were always helpful and smiling. we have so many food ingredients from guests, most of them are new to vegan cuisine that felt great. many thanks, vinny and team! plant-based eating was never fun in all our travels."

"I was pretty disappointed. I love avocado, so I was excited to go there. I had an avokado toast (gluten-free) with broccoli and salad leaves. There were no spices at all (no salt, herbs, lemon, nothing) They gave me salt and pepper, but it was still boring. I would do it better from my self at home."

"The samaya hotel is a beautiful hotel, although we have never stayed there, it was our visit to dinner places when we are there. the ambiente is great, located on the beach of seminyak when they get there early enough, they can catch the sunset, and occasionally some fireworks after dinner! eating is really delicious and expensive for bali, it is a decent price. both local and western foods are great, and they also have a good choice for children. Scene and definitiw a great place for a romantic night outside, but also a good place for children, the garden area in the restaurant is ideal for running around, and there is always the beach."
