"I was on a river cruise, but after dinner decided to walk into town for a local flavor ... we were delighted with the atmosphere, staff, pleasant conversation, view ... it was an enchanting stop and in reviewing the menu, I wished we had enough time to savor all of it - although we had a sampler plate and it was extraordinary!"

"Good chicken soup, very good pork knuckle meat, very good schnitzel. Eat your dessert elsewhere , desserts are not their field. Good professional and attentive service. No parking problems. In the evening, parking on the little street next to the restaurant is free."

"This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. We booked a table for 8:30 and arrived a little bit early which was no problem. We ate from the seasonal menu and had goose liver parfait which was stunning, very smooth and really tasty. I the had goose breast and leg with red cabbage roasted apple and red wine jus. It was fabulous, my wife had saddle of venison with small dumplings and pumpkin and it to was excellent. The dinning room itself is huge but manages to feel cozy with a great buzz. I can't wait to go again!"

"General We found an article about a family circus, which is hosting in Cologne, in the newspaper. So we wanted to surprise our grandchildren. We planned the arrival with public transport (Bus, S Bahn, tram and therefore worked quite well. Before the performance, we wanted to take a bite to strengthen us. So what was close and opened at lunch? Three locals were generally eligible! The “Golden Pflug” a long time ago is a three star – today is a brewhouse. For fun, I would have reserved seats. But the place only opened in the afternoon. There remained a “Balkan House” and a “Greek Taverne”. Both had also opened and also a small map at noon. At the end we went to the “Kaneo” because it was especially close to the stop. Ambiente The house has a small covered outdoor area and two areas inside. The equipment is equipped with lots of wood and brown shades prevail. The tables are bright and equipped with small ceilings. Decoration is economical. It seemed inviting and neat to me. Cleanliness Everything was well maintained. The toilets were in the basement and were only reached by a few steps. Service The two (visible powers seemed friendly and attentive. The young woman served more (only and the young man was allowed to cash. Regularly after us was looked – but completely intrusive and sympathetic. The map(s) The offer is wide: from soups and appetizers, grilled dishes, steak card and international classics, the proposals are getting started. The “Balkan” area was even quite clear – but there were also three “children’s plates”. The tasting food chickens Nuggets (6,90 € The children wanted all three chickens. There were plenty of pommes and some tomato sauce. So we ordered Mayo and Ketchup. That was then in the form of bags for squeezing out. The meat was tidy fried and also juicy inside. The Pommes were also fried properly. Cevapcici (11.90 € The chopsticks were accompanied by rice and frits. In addition, fresh salad on the vegetable counter could be put together. Unfortunately, the meat was very compact and solid. Even with spices, something was wasted – especially salt had been used a lot. But the rice was good. The grains were still slightly firm and not completely glued to sauces. The salads and vegetables were also beautifully dressed in bowls on the counter and not seasoned. There were three sauces available. Balkan liver (10.50 € The liver pieces were also “panned” with herbs. The pieces were of pig and something to fried through. But not as “worry” as the Cevapcici held. The other supplements (rice and salad were of course well made as with the other plate. Ketchup – Bags (0.30 € Mayonnaise – Bags (0.30 € Beverages apple choir 0.2 l (2.20 € mineral water medium 0.2 l (2.50 € price performance ratio We heard the butterfly from the kitchen and saw through the hatch how dressed. Everything seemed fresh. We liked that. But for us the main components were too much salted. However, the chicken pieces were spared and very tasty. In our opinion, prices were moderate. There are other locals who have been hit by Ukraine and Corona. Conclusion 3 – if it results. It wasn't bad. But surely we will not drive to the area because of the food – and the “Golden Pflug” and “Evia” are nearby. "Ein wunderbares Café in Nippes mit einer großen Auswahl trendiger Gerichte und Getränke. Die Auswahl beim Frühstücken ist ebenso umfangreich wie erlesen. Und insgesamt alles recht healthy. Die Architektur und Einrichtung ist ebenso gediegen wie modern. Das Personal außerordentlich freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Die Preise sind absolut angemessen und im Vergleich zu den Preisen in Hotels ein richtiges Schnäppchen. So wundert es nicht, wenn bereits am frühen Morgen ein illustreres Völkchen, vorwiegend junger Leute, das recht kleine Restaurant bevölkert. Also, Hotelfrühstück absagen und nichts wie hierher. Zu den restlichen Tageszeiten kann ich mich noch nicht äußern, aber das werde ich rasch ändern."

Some of the foods that have their own as average, but not with the experience you are looking for. the personal is not trained; has. no knowledge of any wee, eat or alcohol. the restaurant feels empty. odd open buffet with old dips at the entrance. they do not even have bottles of alcohol back."
