"5 stars all around! You have to make reservations a month in advance and now I understand why.. from the lasagna to the pumpkin flan, everything was so fresh and delicious! We ate at several very expensive/high-end/fancy restaurants but this small, local place excelled. The service was wonderful too. The best meal we had while in Venice!"

"We live in Venice and are weary of the many tourist traps. This restaurant , although it is located on a beaten track, near the railway station was a real surprise. It was recommended to us by some friends. The waiters were really friendly and not jaded. food arrived swiftly and was tasty. Even the bathroom was clean! and it wasn't a rip off. We enjoyed the evening and will surely come again."

"We should have known better…someone outside trying to entice business is a sure sign to avoid the place. Plastic menu, all the signs were there. (We were hungry and thought how bad can it be? . We soon found out. It was a terrible pasta meal; worst we had in our 8 weeks in Italy. The pasta “sauce” was dreadful; big soggy mess. We realize that pasta isn’t a Venice speciality…but still this was really bad. Even the pizza was tasteless. There are so many delicious restaurants in Venice do yourself a favour, walk around the corner and find an authentic restaurant. One that isn’t trying to lure in tourists."
