"I often go to the dinner to la mota and it is always exceptional. the service is perfect, the kitchen is a beautiful change from traditional Spanish restaurants in the environment and the atmosphere is magical. in summer they eat outdoors under the great trees in ancient Spanish cortijo and in winter they eat indoors in their cozy dining room with 2 open fires. the choice of background music is also a lot to my taste!"

"We went to eat on Sunday, the dish of the place, consisting of crumbs, chorizo, panceta(very good) fried egg, loin of orce and fried pepper. all very good of flavor, although for my drop the ration is a small pelin, I would put at least a little more crumbs. the waiters were very attentive and sympathetic, although at first I was one for all the back salon and it took a little to attend to us, but then great."

"This restaurant has been in existence for years and can be overlooked on the main road into Alhaurin They serve a 10€ and 15€ menu, both of which have excellent choices. Chunks of crusty French bread are served with the meal along with an appetiser, which could be a cold salad or tapa for each person. We have been here for both lunch and dinner. They only criticism was the gambas pil pil didn’t come out sizzling as it should. The main we chose from the 15€ menu was lamb, plentiful and tasty. All served with fresh vegetables, unusual for a Spanish restaurant.. I know this as the cook frequents our local greengrocer to pick her vegetables. Most Spanish restaurants don’t get busy until late but don’t be put off by this, you’ll get good service but the atmosphere isnt always wonderful early on. It can also get very noisy if you eat inside whilst busy."
