"Reserved a table at lunchtime for an evening meal. We arrived on time and were shown to a table and given menus. Shortly afterwards we were asked to move tables as someone else had requested it. When we ordered drinks the waiter was very direct - we asked for a gin and tonic and he said no! We then tried to order wine but all French wines were not available - in France!!! We ordered our starters and main dishes after a fairly long wait to order. In the meantime other diners had arrived and were served rather promptly. We watched other diners (who had arrived after us) receive their starters and in some cases main courses as well. We waited 1 hour and 20 minutes, still not received our starters, so decided enough was enough. I hate to say it but it was very clear that because we were not French our custom did not matter. Such a shame as the location and terrace was very nice. We will definitely not return or recommend this restaurant."

"This is one of our Go-to-Hunts for a relaxed, satisfying meal at an unpredictable price. The host is insulting, the staff efficient, and the decor decided amusing, decorating the walls with wry oenophilic supplements and quotes. The menu with standard perigourdine specialties, prepared with...flair, had enough variety and often changes enough to let us come back, and the dishes are always well prepared and plentiful. A plus: on Thursday evening the kitchen is Moroccan, served generous portions of grilled meat with classic brewed vegetables and couscous."

"Went there alone for dinner. Quiet area, quite pricey but overall food is prepared in front of you by the chef and his team. Service is good, quick and smily. Foie gras, Spanish pork and strawberries were ok with good Bergerac rosé wine. Worth trying it."
