"I liked this little jewel of a loche in the wall ice cream shop. it sits only 8 people, but this is not distracted from the quiet friendliness of the folk. 2 different people came out at different times to serve me; a younger girl, the first spoke a little English. with my poor cantonese, who couldn't help her, a dame came out of the kitchen that spoke good English. I got a big bowl suppe with what was told to me was noodle, meergemüse and ice-free noodles. I also had a glass of ice water with lemon. I'm not sure if the drink was free or not. the whole thing came to a negotiation 32 hkd. I'd like to eat here again."

"After a beautiful hike in pat sin leng landpark, I landed around the midday in fanling. fung ying seen koon the restaurant is ideally located in a modern (Buddhist tempel, right next to the MTR station. at the exit b they take the bridge, then the small pedestrian tunnel on the left side, and it is only 2 minutes to the entrance of the tempel. go up the stairs and turn left, find signs indicating the way to the vegetarian canteen. the room is quite large, round tables, a bit creepy, noisy, many people. mostly traditional mushroom/tofu-dishes on the menu. but it was nice to be here after having spent 4 hours on the one. I took some spring rolls (not bad) and sweetening (was not impressed as there was much too much mushroom/tofu and very few green vegetables). quantity is ok, reasonable price (less than hkd100 for these 2 dishes). Overall, it is a decent place I would recommend when they get around, although I could understand that they might not want to keep the 1h00 MTR trip mtr from central to come here."
