"My friend, I stopped here for lunch on a motorcycle tour through the auvergne with seat in salers. we had seen in a few larger cities, but almost abandoned to find every decent lunch. I am vegetarian so that the usual plate de...jours don't work for me. we passed to pass this place and indicated a quick look at the cold outside, I could get something to eat. we were not disappointed. we had a great lunch, I had sweet soup, which was really nice and my cucumber once again wanted that he had only a light lunch one of the specialties that was made pork with cabbage leaves at the place of pasta. this was served with sweet and domestic chips. he eats it! the deserts were just as good, we chose both the orange panacotta that were excellent. this place is a small jewel well removed from the beaten stretch. we will spend one or two nights here. the landscape here is simply stunning. the village saint donat is charming and the auberge is in a beautiful environment. the host was very helpful and welcoming. the number of locals who came to lunch while we were there was particularly noteworthy. always a good sign in france."

"My wife and I visited this family friendly self-service restaurant last weekend whilst doing some shopping in Leclerc Outreau. The restaurant is actually situated inside the Leclerc supermarket. I can say that the French do this sort of thing really well. The food is well presented, cooked to order and very reasonably priced. I had a prime cut of steak perfectly cooked while I watched. Not only steaks and burgers but many other things besides as well as a good choice of hors d'oeuvres and desserts. Our lunch (for two) came to less than Eur.30.00 including drinks. I will certainly visit again the next time I am in Boulogne or the surrounding area. With the demise of the "Relais Routiers" restaurants in France which is unfortunately due to autoroute expansion since the 70's, these supermarket restaurants are great value for money."

"I just cannot get enough of this lovely little auberge and its fabulous food! I visited in June with my keep fit group for lunch and just had to book for lunch yesterday for my husbands birthday. Everything was perfect, The food delicious, hosts welcoming....Just dont tell too many people as I want to keep it a secret!"

"Nous avons mangé plusieurs fois dans cette cafétéria pendant un séjour à St Flour et, nous n'avons jamais été déçus. Il y a beaucoup de choix, et le cuisinier trouvera toujours un petit mot d'humour pour vous faire sourire, ce qui est très agréable, quand on passe à table. La salle est immense, mais même remplie, on peut se parler sans avoir besoin de hurler. Située juste à la sortie de l'autoroute (sortie 29), vous n'aurez pas besoin de traverser la ville pour vous arrêter manger, vous pourrez même faire le plein de votre véhicule, il y a une station service juste en face. Attention la cafétéria est fermée le samedi soir ..."
