"This establishment had a kind of descent to the hells and we had renounced to go back. having learned that a new team had taken over the torch we wanted to reconnect with our old habits. Well, we've taken it. We were very satisfied. Not only is the view exceptional but everything is refined in this castle: furniture, paintings, tapestries. the gardens are splendid and deserve a visit alone. and then lunch on the terrace with under the eyes a good tip of the coast of azur is a rare pleasure that justifies the relatively high prices of the map. We had no idea of the kitchen. Well, she definitely recovered. everything was good and well served, foie gras, lamb, desserts. service was also impeccable. We can only congratulate the new direction and his leader for awakening this beautiful dormant wood."

"Having been to Vence for many years, we have passed La Pergola a hundred times for fancier places in the city. Situated just where you are heading into the old town, this is an old tabac with an eatery on the roof terrace. Just had to try, and it was a wonderful surprise! Friendly service and good, simple food cooked to perfection. Salads and lunch courses in a nice variety is on the menu. I had a perfect Salade Greque, but I really have to go back and try the Salade au chèvre chaud with several cheeses. The water damp came as a chill bonus. Good choice!"

"We sat inside and had a glass of wine whilst they prepared our takeaway for the family. The curries were excellent, beautifully spiced and thankfully not loaded with vile colourants that so many Indian restaurants love. We really liked the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala,...jalfrezi and the Bombay aloo. The onion bargis were sadly more like onion rings but that did not detract from our enjoyment of the meal!"

"We found this restaurant when we stayed in Vence back in 2012 and revisited in 2013. The owner remembered us this year and yet again gave us the wonderful hospitality that we had the year previously. The menu is a little limited but this only adds to the perfectly cooked food as the chef can concentrate on providing the best rather than having to worry about cooking too many dishes. This restaurant was always busy morning, noon and night and I would always go back and recommend to friends and family. Lovely place, great ambience, fantastic service and an owner with his finger firmly on the pulse to ensure that all his clientele are happy and will return time after time."

"Visited here after reading good reviews on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed. Gorgeous little restaurant with a lovely terrace and great views over the hills. The food was the best we have had on Cote D'Azur. Only waiters so don't be in a rush...but the food is worth waiting for. Very friendly service and very busy, must Book. Not too expensive either, euros for main meals with dessert and drinks. Thoroughly recommend."

"Truly the work of an artist, La Cassoulette's dishes were beautiful in concept, taste,and visual pleasure. An Amuse Bouche of carrot purée and whipped cream was a delightful surprise. An entree of grenouilles were fresh and tiny, a pile in a green parsley creme 'pond' that was both an experience and a taste sensation. We also had grilled calamari and risotto that was a perfect dream of flavors. Pure pleasure of ambience, charm, simplicity of decor and genuine warmth. Cannot recommend it more highly."
