"Stay well placed close to a place with a concert tonight, but the quality of the food was execrable and with very little choice. The sandwiches were burnt and the quiches were surely warmed and made all this cooked without masks the day before. Too bad the boss looked pretty nice and the very affordable prices. A tip is running away..."

"It looks like a very ordinary French cafe. Sports TV in the background. Don't be deceived. Friendly helpful welcome and excellent French cuisine, but with a Senegalese twist. Beautifully presented. Wonderful mix a local vegetables and mousses. Chocolate dessert to die for, again beautifully presented. We were amazed. Recommended by a local who knows her stuff."

"Our hotel recommended this restaurant and we were glad that they did as we would never have found it otherwise. It has superb views from its terrace over the mountains and of the Church in Vernet les Bains. It is unusual as you go past the kitchen...on the way in. The menu is extensive and unusual quite a few dishes involve cooking on your own hot stones. This was initially rather daunting but actually worked brilliantly and was very tasty. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming and were happy to accommodate us when we returned the following day for a lighter meal. Really good experiences and happy memories of our visit to this small, mountain town."
