"A fine gentleman at Anima Mundi recommended this restaurant and I'm so glad that he did. The sushi rolls were excellent as was the crispy tempura. I was impressed with the quality of the iced green tea. (tea nerd here). I was happy that they had brown rice. Our waitress was very attentive and polite. The atmosphere is nothing special(nice but not essential) but we had a window table so I was quite happy. Despite the fact that I live in Manhattan I can't wait to go back.Vegetarian options: I'm always happy when a japanese restaurant offers brown rice. The vegetables were fresh and tasty.Parking: we found a parking spot 1/3 of a block from the restaurant. meter didn't take credit cards so we fed it quarters."

"Food quality had went down over the years. Rolls and maki not as fresh and the hot food is either overly cold or overcooked . Bundled with inflated pricing. Unfortunately we will not be coming back here anytime soon."

"This place has the worst sushi, the worst service, and the worst attitude tiowards customes ever! Do Not Eat Here! There are way to many other good places to eat. I've been coming here for takeout for a few montsh and now and it's been ok, passable at beast. But the last time I was there I made the order and then stepped outside as EVERYONE does to wait for the woman to let me know what it's done. I waited and waited and waited, and even saw the woman look outside many times. Then after over half an hour I finally wewnt back inside to see what was going on with my order, The woman told me she thought I left. Seriously?? I told her i saw her look outside many times and that she saw me standing there waiting! She started arguing with me and yelling and screaming! Then finally gave me the order which was Udon Noodle soup for my young daughter. Little did I know that the order had been sitting around for over 30 minutes and had gotten up to room tempertature and apparently gotten to the point where it gave my Daughter food poisoning shortly after eating it! You've got be Kidding me! Giving me stale food, making me wait for over hanf an hour for ONE order of noodle soup? Ad then yellling at me?? NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO THIS GARBAGE DUMP OF A RESTAURANT! Do NOT risk food poisoning here!"

"A noon hour treat for the all-you-can-eat deal for our granddaughter was wonderful up until it was time to leave. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and it was a real treat. The service was friendly and good and the restaurant was not busy. I stopped...at the washroom, small but clean, and someone came in after me and went into the stall. Upon leaving I noticed that it was a uniformed food handler from the kitchen who stopped VERY briefly at the sink and made a pretence of running the water. The soap dispenser is noisy, as is the towel dispenser, and there was no sound from either or even time to have used them. There were also no signs reminding staff to thoroughly was hands or guidelines posted for required hand washing from the Department of Health. This may not be typical of the kitchen staff there but it only takes one with bad practices to turn a great experience into a trip to the Emergency Dept. I think that management needs to take steps to ensure that proper health safety requirements are met."
