"Bahar provided catering for our wedding in June. While our main entree was provided by the venue (The Fashion Island Hotel), the Bahar team provided our appetizers and executed our fruit table display. Mehrdad jaan and his team truly went above and beyond for our family. We were very close to signing a contract with another well known Persian caterer in Orange County, but were let down with the quality of their food after attending a wedding that they catered. Mehrdad is highly professional and extremely flexible. He met with my mother and I numerous times prior to our wedding and executed everything we requested, which was a lot! They had an appetizer display, charcuterie station, and additional tray passed appetizers. Their display was beautiful and the food was FANTASTIC our guests were so pleased! They provided so much food that we had leftovers and never ran out of anything. We also asked for the Bahar team to provide mini tacheens to come out with the main entree. Mehrdad was open to the idea and made it happen. This was one of our guests favorite details of our wedding! Their fruit display was beautiful, and about 20% lower in cost than the other estimates that we received. Additionally, Mehrdad and team partnered with Sweet Lily's Bakery to incorporate Persian pastries on the table as well they even picked up everything for us at no additional cost. On the night of, Mehrdad and his team worked extremely hard to bring our vision to life. Our venue and wedding planner loved working with them. Our families will be using them for any and all events going forward."

"Been coming here regularly over the years and for Persian kabob this place is consistently good and you never leave disappointed.<br/ <br/ I normally order the Vaziri as the koobideh and joojeh are always good and it comes with a massive serving of rice. The starters of mast oo khiar and salad Shiraz never let you down either.<br/ <br/ The two big let downs are that it is ridiculously overpriced for what it is and the customer service is generally very poor. As an example you will call at 5.15 to place an order and they will tell you to call back at 5.30 as this is when they open instead of taking the order and cooking it when they open. They have little annoying quirks like this but you get accustomed to it over the years and you learn to work around them.<br/ <br/ But overall, in terms of the food, of all Persian restaurants in Sydney this one is definitely the best in terms of quality and consistency.<br/ <br/ If it wasn’t for the poor service and for it being overpriced, this place would be a 5 all day instead of the 4 in which I have rated."

"The kababs quality are one of the best in the region. However, the stews do not have consistent quality. I have ordered Gheimeh Bademjan, ghorme sabzi and fesenjoon in different occasions. Sometimes they are really good, sometimes they are really bad. For example one time they apparently used salt instead of sugar in fesenjoon and the fesenjoon was salty (however i should mention that they sent me another fesenjoon with my next order to compensate that). Also we got gheime tonight and it was too oily and under cooked."

"The best persian restaurant you can find in the area! When you go to a restaurant usually there is something that lacking, but this one! Above and beyond your expectations! Nice and pleasant atmosphere, tasty kebob! Combination #1 in the menu is recommended if you’re 3. Try the kashke bademjoon! It taste like homemade one. Saffron rice, just the smell tells it all! Best quality saffron is used. Don’t forget to have traditional Iranian tea with Baghlava for your dessert."
