"We arrived slightly early 6:35pm, for a 6:45pm booking. We did get seated pretty much immediately. From there.... it ALL went downhill. Drinks slow to arrive Jugs of water not arriving Missing items from order Basically, the worst meal I’ve ever had. We skipped deserts and currently in a restaurant in Edinburgh simply to get the deserts, coffees and drinks we wanted this side of 2025... I genuinely think it’s because we had two children with us. We were in a corner and basically forgotten about."

"Went to Edinburgh for a short trip and I ordered the Big Breakfast to get the full Scottish breakfast experience. The food came out very hot as you can see from the smoke in the photo haha. Each item taste great and the staff are very friendly. Definitely will come back again and recommend this place to everyone."

"Very recommended! Very delicious meal with generous portion, good price and very friendly staff. Children available so that we can order more dishes if everything looks so good and difficult to decide. Two of us have finally ordered 1st house salad with Scotch eggs 2nd lampstand 3. Veggie haggis 4. Smoked bacon and spring onion Maische 5. Cheddar cheese Maische 6. Smoked beans medley maische. We finished everything without waste!! All right!"
