"We got here and were super excited to try the “vegan” ramen. Its not vegan, just vegetarian. They use egg noodles. Then we wanted to try some vegan omusubi. They had several options. When we ordered those, they said that the kitchen was overloaded because someone ordered 12, and that they couldnt make them for us. Then we ordered a vanilla latte with almond milk. They were out of vanilla. Then, they made it with regular milk and had to remake it. We left very hungry and disappointed."

"Updated review 10/16/2021: The weather was perfect for outdoor dining. The tables were in the shade and kept us cool. We had the combo B $15.50), combo C $16) with black garlic ramen and little shrimp tempuras $1.75 each). The little gyudon beef bowl) that came with combo C tasted pretty good. I do still preferred the combo B because of the California roll and gyoza. Pitchers of beer are no longer available. Our waiter explained they don't the kegs anymore. Beer is only available in a bottle. Great job everyone at Maru Ichi. Love the ramen combos! Original review: Indoor dining 4/26/2021. Tonight, I had the combo B side of pot stickers california roll) with black garlic ramen. The color and flavor of the black garlic was a little off tonight. It was more of a light brown broth. Usually you can see the black spots of the black garlic. Service remains excellent. The ramen was not bad tonight."

"I came here after work for a small get together and I was very impressed with the interior. It was neat and clean, creating a pleasant atmosphere for enjoying a meal. The fish used in the sushi was decent. While it was fresh, I was expecting a more exceptional quality given the price point. As for the service, the staff was attentive. Empty plates were promptly cleared, and drinks were refilled without having to request it. This place was not too bad but not sure if I will return as the rolls' flavors weren't that memorable to me."

"Appetizers are od especially the pork buns and sausage, for ramen I went with tantan the broth is perfect in the middle not too salty n sweet. Five stars for the food, 1 star for the bull with a blue bandana I asked for a pair of chopsticks n he threw it on the table like I'm a begger or something, worth a try but would never come back here to dine, I pay my money for food I don't beg for it so to be treating a customer in a rude way then even the food is good it is not worth coming back."
