"My man recommended the place without trying to eat, he saw that it was a lunch when he was over last week. So we tried to eat tonight. the service was fast and efficient, but eating was a break. the servations were. in general, the special nudel soup was lacking in taste and the bark, tripe, sehne were chewing. crispy chicken with tomato rice: rice was boiled half and hew was dry and perhaps overcooked. overall, in comparison to other many Vietnamese restaurant in sydney, it was a break."

"This place does not look inviting (it has a grimy old shopfront) and I would not have gone in, I would not have been with a friend who recommended it. this friend is a vegetarian on a tight budget and had found the food delicious. So...we have tried three sweet dishes with brot and they were really delicious (in this heavy, creamy/oily style). tischservice is in order, although the staff also sold at the fronttheke takeaways and has little time for nice things. there was a disturbing incident while we were there. a young woman complained about the previous service and wanted a refund. the owner lifted up their vote and ordered the accused. I do not know which party was in the right place, but the incident was certainly not treated diplomatically."

"I dined at Taste of Shanghai with a work colleague on a Wednesday whilst in Sydney recently and it was well worth the long walk we took to get there.The restaurant is set amongst blocks of various Asian Restaurants, many of which were totally empty. This one was absolutely full though, which is always a good sign.We were seated almost immediately and sat enthralled looking through the most amazing menu you are ever likely to see in a restaurant. It was like a photographic catalogue and we just hoped the food looked and tasted as good when it arrived as what was shown in the menu.We weren't disappointed at all as the food was amazing, with such quality ingredients and so fresh too. I cannot speak highly enough of the food, it was sensational.The only reason I haven't rated the experience as Excellent is because the surrounding, décor, table settings and service (fill out a menu slip and pay for it at the counter) aren't up to the high standard of some other restaurants, but the quality of the food certainly makes up for that.Highly recommended,"

"I went there every weekend, at this weekend I went for the first time with my wife, since I lived in ashfield for six years. Unfortunately I don't want to go there anymore when I saw that lady took a brot out of the floor and used it for doner kebab. I also believe that they need more training to behave with the customer, I think they will get family members to do the service without training. I had a bad behavior from such a tiny place. Thank you."
