"We popped in for a cup of tea and a snack before an appointment in the Medical Centre, and Nathan greeted us enthusiastically as soon as we walked in the door, instantly making us feel welcome! I am picky with my tea, only drinking a particular type of green tea so I had my own tea bags on hand. Also, my partner is gluten free, so we aren't the easiest of customers. Nathan was extremely accommodating, letting me use my green tea bag and recommending a yummy GF honey, almond and pistachio slice for us to share. We highly recommend this great little cafe, we will definitely be back."

"Last change of the diet I had in the hope that this hillz cafe could fulfill my vegan appetit - it did! had the vegetarian sandwich (sans butter) and added avocado (spread). it was absolutely delicious on Turkish brot!"

"As part of a birthday group of 14 people who take the half of this very small restaurant. we were served a lot of foods over 3 hours and everything was excellent, well cooked, delicious and tasteful. would definitely go back."

"We were in Sydney staying with friends and wanted a late night pizza fix. We had the Mexican and meat lovers with a Cabinara and garlic breads. All were on a crispy base with nice toppings and portions. They were bust and warned delivery could be 1 1/2 hrs yet they showed up in 40 minutes which was good. Everyone loved the pizza and we will be back next time in Sydney for sure."

"We have been to this restaurant and despite the same owner the food has been inconsistant. we had a good eperience a few times however completely the opposite last few times .The last time we visited the solftshell crab and callimari was well over cooked...and the quality of the calmari was terible.The vegitarian stir fried serving was very small. This is the second time we had this experience in the last two years.We just thought we would just give it another chance and were exteremely disappointed When we complained the owner just brushed it aside ."

"This place felt like any inner city cafe; which is great to have in the Hills. On the day that we went, there was mess all over the tables; and this was not cleared in the time we were there; so service is certainly something that can be improved.The coffee serving is also exceptionally small. The cups sizes are smaller than average."

"So our meal was 2 pasta dishes - Tortellini boscaiola and beef lasgane - and a Spain pizza to go.Eating in there's no charge for booze - and there's a bottle shop just next door. So big tick on that.The garlic pizza we had to start was great - a little bit of cheese, oil and garlic. The base was nice and light.The Tortellini was a good size and cooked nicely; just enough texture in the pasta being nice and firm. The sauce I thought lacked something. The bacon was tasty, the mushrooms sufficient but there wasn't enough cream; a eighth of a cup or so would do it for me, so was just missing. Perhaps some pepper or go silly with the garlic?The lasagne was a good meal too, plenty of meat around the dish more than what was between the sheets but that's a variation I didn't mind.The pizza was really good. A nice light thin base that puffed up well at the edges. It held its shape when eating and nothing fell off. Being a gourmet pizza it wasn't loaded with toppings but what was there was good.All in all we were happy with our lot and would be quite happy to go back again. And again.Also, Saturday night when we visited Nonna was behind the counter so you are getting the Real Deal."
