"Service wasn’t that great. first of all we asked for coke and we told the waiter it tasted like diet he was kind enough to change them but it was still diet coke, the whole time we drank diet coke which was gross. we sat for 20/30 min after we ate and nobody came to check on us until we had to call our waiter and ask for the bill and boxes"

"I craved a hot bowl of tofu soup soondooboo) on a rainy and cold evening, and Cho Dang Tofu restaurant satisfied the craving. Not once had a bad experience with their quality and taste on my past visits. I ordered the perilla seed with mushroom soondooboo $12.99) at the medium spice level. For the first timers try the seafood beef or my favorite bean paste soondooboo that comes with clam, beef, and mushroom. The meal comes with a container with the yummy side dishes banchan), white rice, and a fried fish. I recommend that you reheat the soondooboo in a pot and add an egg immediate after you turn off the fire. Picked up the new To-Go Bento set $12.99) beef bulgogi and the restaurant is having a 20% off promo until end of January 31st on the Special Bento set $16.99) or the To-Go Bento. The Special comes with additional banchans. A good amount of bulgogi with onions and no funny business with onions hiding underneath the bulgogi. This set will fill you up. Will come back to try their other specials and new menu items"

"My first hot pot experience. AMAZINg. The vibe was great. The price was so affordable. You pick the soup base you want and they set it up for you. You pick your meats (all you can eat) and then you go to the bar and grab whatever add ons you want. It’s like, make your own ramen or pho. Quick to heat and it’s a very social environment and meal. Very tasty. Attentive service. 10/10"

"The place is great it was my 3rd time going there. The place it's busy because the food is really good, so be ready to wait in line. On a Wednesday night my party of 3 waited 45min until seated at 8pm. I gave 4 for service, due to the high demand of this place the service is lacking a bit, but other then that this is a really good place with delicious food. I will definitely go back!"

"Simply stated, El Rocoto is a chef owned and operated Peruvian restaurant, serving one of the most delicious expressions of this amazing country 's cuisine in SoCal. Everything we ordered tasted super fresh and made with a lot of love and passion. The quality ingredients are treated with respect, and the cooking techniques involve both the age old traditional Inca style as well as the high BTU range providing a slight smokiness, aka wok hei a product of the Southern Chinese influence in Peruvian cuisine (known as Chifa style). Oh those aromas are to die for! Their tiraditos, lomo saltado, tacu tacu especial, chaufa, and papa rellena tickled our taste buds with a huge array of flavors and textures, way beyond what 's common in any single meal. Although I really got the impression that everything on their menu is scrumptiously delicious! Also, be sure to try one of their amazing craft cocktails as well as their housemate chicha morada! If you 're already familiar with Peruvian food, then you definitely have to try this place, and if you 're not, I 'm telling my friend, you 're missing out big time! Highly recommend!"

"Food is mediocre at Goldilocks. The problem with this judgment of mine however is that I tasted their food back when they were housed in Artesia. It’s possible that their food tastes a lot better now that they’re housed in Cerritos. I unfortunately don’t intend on trying their food again though with an exception to their bakery items. The bakery seems to be what most people go to Goldilocks for and seems to be what Goldilocks is known for. The problem is they seem to have cheapened the ingredients used in their baked goods. Bummer, but then again, what do you expect in a world that feeds off of highly processed food? Their biscotti is good. I admit that I used to be an addict of their biscotti. I however ended my addiction after connecting my weight gain with their biscotti. I used to love their ensaymadas as well. Prior to getting addicted to biscotti, I was addicted to ensaymadas. There was just something about that cheesy and sugary taste I loved so much. It unfortunately was without a doubt an unhealthy snack. They sell a lot of different baked goods. In addition to mamon, ensaymada and biscotti, they also sell red velvet cupcake, ube cake, sao pao, chicken empanada, halo halo and more. Most people come to Goldilocks to order cakes for a special occasion. Unfortunately, their cakes are no longer as good as they used to be. Cake ordering has also become a nightmare during holiday times as many will want to order and pick up their cake(s the same day as you. My mom and I had a so so experience the first time we ordered our cake with them. This was back when they were still housed in Artesia. Because of the so so experience, we have never bothered to order another cake from them again. Although I’ve never dined here (note that I have dined at Goldilocks back when they were housed in Artesia , I can say that the restaurant comes off pretty clean and tidy. Customer service is alright. (I’ve had better customer service at other Pilipino restaurants before. The restaurant itself is located in a busy area (next to a supermarket and near Hometown Buffet on South and Gridley . There is more than enough parking and you won’t have a hard time finding the restaurant as it can easily be seen when driving along Gridley. Fun fact: Some of you may not be aware of this, but their original location was on Pioneer Street in Artesia, CA. They are of course now housed in Cerritos at South and Gridley."

"As the name of the restaurant says, its speciality is tofu (soft tofu . There are many varieties of soon zubu to choose from. All contain some kind of meat in it. My mother somehow managed to have her chef (an older woman I'm pretty sure no longer works there or if she does it, works less hours there make our soon toobu with so minimal traces of meat possible. If this special cook makes it for us, the soon toobu soft tofu, jalapeno, spices, seafood ingredients and broths that do not smell like beef. It is almost a completely different smell / taste soon toobu when another person cook for us. The restaurant itself is not big, but it is not small. They offer ice cream for those who take out in as well as for those who order. I'm not sure if they still offer ice cream, although the machine didn't work the last two times my mother visited the restaurant. The owner (most of the restaurant are really nice. I love him being both Korean and non-Koreaner nice. (Business of Koreans in Cerritos are often a failure when it comes to service. I can only mention some companies run by Koreans in the city that are both Koreans and non-Koreanes nice and/or provide fair service for all. Although the owner and one special chef are the highlights of this restaurant, the same cannot be said by the waitresses. It has come to my mother's attention that her waiters never give a sufficient amount of secondary dishes that come with the soon toobu order. Korean cuisine, in general is not vegetarian friendly. If you are not a complete vegetarian, you would like to give the soon zubu in this restaurant a try. The restaurant itself is located at New Beijing Wok and Carrows. There is always a parking lot in the restaurant. FYI: I have never dined in; I just ate their “soon toobu” (soft tofu as take out. Rating: I would have given 4 stars if there were not for the insufficient amount of secondary dishes."
