"I live in Cessnock and have NEVER had a problem with their food. It looks, smells and tastes great. Plenty to fill you up and it made fresh right in front of you. I don’t know how you get live maggots when everything is cooked in front of you. Mystery to me."

"Passing through Cessnock. After hunting around for a restaurant on Easter Saturday we finally found the Leagues club. Hubby had roast lamb dinner, lamb was fatty carrots were hard. I had salt Pepper squid with chips salad, too much salt not enough pepper on squid. OK meal OK service."

"I've tried Thai restaurants all over NSW these past few years. @Roi Thai serves far better food than any other Thai restaurant in NSW I've been to except one, and they share 1st place on my list. We had the Hor Mok Talay (mixed seafood curry), prawn Pad See Ew, and chicken fried rice. The flavours of the curry were beautifully combined and balanced, the Pad See Ew was caramelized better than any other, and the fried rice was perfectly balanced.And the service was prompt and friendly.I'll be visiting here again any time I'm within 20km of Pokolbin, and so should you!"
