"This is a vegetarian restaurant near the small north gate (xiaobeimen) of the universität sichuan. it serves some interesting dishes such as pizza, pasta, tiny Vietnamese spring rolls, chicken bone and Japanese noodles with sweet. there are several vegan options, but most of them are Eastern cuisine, such as the Sichuan Friend reisnudeln with vegetables or the cured vegetables. they also have smoothies, but I never tried them. the personal is very friendly (something unusual in the opposite), the prices are moderate (compared to meat places around, but not as high as chic vegan restaurants Chinese further from campus), and the ambiente is unique. it is located in a dark dirty cluster of fleshy restuarants, but as soon as they come into them know that they are in a veg place through the smell and lightness. they will tell them clearly what can be done without msg or other things they want to avoid. this was a veg oasis for me, as I study in sichuan u and the veg options in the cafeterias are not appetit (plus full of msg.)"

"I wanted to try jiaozi, but had always been afraid to get more than I had in the surprise what filled my little emptying. I asked for herbal jiaozi before and assured that the emptying did not contain meat or egg, only to be surprised and to find myself, as I repeatedly spit out and washed out the mouth. in Chinese, when they ask for sweetness in their knödeln, even if they have meat, they are often included, yes, they are sweet, a sweet dish! vegetarian or vegan to be here, is not well understood, but to the Buddhist stains (like these,) which is different. I was first taken by former teachers in the school I was assigned and my counterpart. I was in the sky! everything on the menu is vegetarian. they are using a set in some, so make sure that they do not eat a (in Chinese.) the owner is limited to describing the plate size and saying hi, and to say in English) and they will clearly control it from all products that contain it. everything from the nudges to the jiaozi is made before site. they are also very expensive. for jiaozi, they can be on the expensive side, but they have three different size plates and will mix their order. in 2017 is the big part 12 ¥, that is less than $ 2 us. I usually come here at least once a week to take a quick and satisfying lunch before office hours. they know me and smile at her kind smile! we don't talk all the other languages fluent, but somehow I always manage to get a wonderful baptismal vegan steamed dumplings and very friendly service!"

"If they have the time, 4-7 hours, this is and out, the time and effort worth. baoguang temple, in the baoguang street in the xindu district of chengdu, includes a surface of 100,000 square meters and is a Buddhist monastery cen with a long history and hosts numerous cultural treasures. the tempel was founded in the eastern han dynasty (25-220 n. chr). baoguang temple now consists of a pagoda, six halls and sixteen farms. it is the only tempel still to preserve the traditional temple layout - with the pagoda, with the pagoda as a center. we drove by the subway to the north railway station and found the bus stop and the bus 35 that brought us to the north bus station (near chezhan) and left from the main ticket office back to a station for three more local buses that we found 605 to xindu, 3 rmb (50 cent) have found about 45 minutes to xindu and then a bus and 15 minutes to foot and we made it to tempster). pays the 5 RMB(82cent) to enter and said to go right to find the dining room. we found it by going through the tea pavilion and found the order windows with the menu choice all in characters with preisen. none of the 4 women pointed out two suggestions, and I also ordered a tofu and we went and sat down. short they brought our food with us and we were pleased to have a Broccoli dish that was not cooked over in a delightful gravure, the braised tofu with paprika and a beautiful sauce and a celery, red and green paprika with roasted cashews dishes. I asked my non vegetarian friend who was his favourite dish, and he called all three and added that we didn't order better if we knew what we ordered. bill 40 10, 50 RMB($8.20) no drinks or desserts. they closed at 1:15 so try to be there by midday with the time, an hour or 2 to visit the sites and places before or after lunch. at the end of the park before the tempel we found the bus 651 back in chengdu, north of the north railway station."

"Biscuits and pastries are nothing spectacular (many sugar and white flour), but cheap they are. good variety of mock meat. for the biscuits and baked I would initially give, but for the concept and the mock meat I will give stars."

"I went for dinner. For 16 yuan I got nicely prepared mock-pork in a light sweet sauce, white rice, a portion of lotus root, soup, and I think there may have been one more veggie. Definitely a big meal for the price. Not gourmet, but good. Food is served very quickly. The location, near the Wuhouci Museum, makes it a convenient choice. I spoke with the proprietors. They have five vegetarian restaurants in Chongqing. Lotus (3-4 Qi Dao Yan Jie, Gao Sheng Qiao, Chengdu) is only a few blocks away, has the same menu, and is already listed on Happy Cow. I think its full name is Lotus on the Water Lotus Vegetarian Restaurant (2nd floor, No. 31 Bai Yun Si Street, Leyouyuan, Chengdu) is also listed on Happy Cow. It is a full restaurant (not fast food) but I didn't have a chance to visit."

"First I wanted to go to the restaurant, but then, when I went through the tempel, I stumbled on five vision hall or vegetarian canteen. I was lucky to be there at 11:45, because they are ready at 12:15. you take 2 bowls and a few buttons and steh in the line. first I thought there were 2 lines because there are 2 windows, but actually the left is where they pay 5 ¥ for a reception and the right is where they exchange the entrance for their meal. they offer various types of sweet and white rice. If they have been in wenshu monestery nunnery, then they will notice that its quite similar, but there they can get a second part free, while here they can not. updated by previous review on 2018-09-02"
