"Fish chips and peas , can they get it wrong? Yes. Peas were like they had been watered down, fish was tasteless and really thick on the batter, chips were ok, we both felt ill after probably from all the grease. Never again"

"We booked for Sunday lunch as a treat. We have not been here for a few years and certainly not since it’s refurbishment. The place is quite stunning to sit and the booths give a personal touch to a small party. The dinner was actually delicious and the 3 courses for £29.95 seemed ok. Until it came to the mashed potato!! £3.95 for a bowl of mash. Come on Mount P, surely this should be part of the meal? The veg was also limited and it was also extra for the cauliflower cheese! If a dollop of these had been on my plate I would be giving a full 5 stars. Instead this is just skimpy and skingy. We also had butter on the table but we’re not offered any bread. This should be a sumptuous special Sunday dinner for this price"

"We enjoyed a cracking Wellington, full English breakfast on Sunday morning. They open at 10:30am and were already busy ten minutes later. We were a family of four one of us opted for the vegetarian breakfast, which looked great and was equally, very enjoyable. Next time, we’ll choose our table a little more carefully as once the four adult plates and cups saucers were served, we were short of space. My husband I had been just a day earlier and had Jubilee coffee cake. The coffee is really nice but avoid sitting close to the serving area as it’s a really noisy coffee machine. One slight criticism is that it would have been nice if someone had collected our plates when we’d finished eating. We stacked them on the table where they stayed until we left. Having said that, we will be back."

"Bliss!!! this was no bliss in eating here. lunch manager no common sense!! That people were eating a hot meal in the venue and left the front door open while she spoken to staff in kitchen .we were two tables away from the door l!!!!! Altho shouted at me .what the problem was ?? ?? And she didnt mean to leave door open. Still staff kept door open to in load car !! MAY BE HOOVER X UNLOAD CAR WHEN PAYING COSTOMERS HAVE LEFT!!! . I I I will.never return again and cornbeef.pie doesn't need microwave as slop as it is x"
