"Family restaurant. Decent service but very randomly sized portions. BBQ plate for one was generous and included some offal and meat. The chicken meal was tiny in comparison and was incredibly garlicy. Both were hot and cooked fresh on the grill to order, which was the best part. Only a few seats inside and definitely not a lot of atmosphere. Priced according to the area, which is to say; pretty expensive for what you get."

"We arrived in El Calafate in the late afternoon and caught the shuttle hotel to the Main Street of town. We had no idea what was good despite some ideas from the front desk clerk. We stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try. Service was slow and when I decided on the lomo, I was informed no lomo, only bief. I went with the bief which was good and came with thick, fresh fries. My husband ordered the pizza which was thick crust unlike the thin crust in Ushuaia. It was very good and the small (Chica) was more than enough for one. I tasted it and agree that it was very good. I found the service lacking, the waiter that took our order completely disappeared and the waitress that took over seemed to be the only wait staff. Even when we asked for the check, she attended to many other tables before bringing it and then she placed the bill and credit card on the bar for quite a while before bringing it back. Go for the food but beware the slow service. Also when you leave,turn left and stop at the ice cream/chocolate place next door. Well worth it."

"Came with very tempered expectations, but was overall a small operation, led by a Japanese family in El Calafate. Far from Tokyo and NYC Grad Sushi was missing the rice, but the nitrili and sashimi were very good. Great for those who have a charm of Parrillas/Italian."

"Absolutely loved this restaurant. Really hidden, but offers amazing homemade food, beautifully decorated, made with genuine ingredients. Best local restaurant in my 3 days stay here, would definitely recommend. The service takes a long time, but it is worth it"

"We liked this place so much that we came back three times. The service was exceptionally friendly and efficient. We had no full meal, but the Omelettes and lens specialists were delicious. What we liked most was the coffee and the chance to watch the world in El Calafate."

"Probably the worst meal so far in 1.5 weeks in Argentina. The steaks we ordered were very dry (ordered medium) and were mostly inedible. Pasta in cream sauce was left uneaten. Caesar’s salad was some unrecognized leaves with cheese and very bad tasting chicken, and also was not eaten"
