"Service was fast but restaurant didn't have everything to complete my order and had to pay more for a substitute side. Chicken strips were like eating sadness. Dry, bland, left a lot to be desired but on the flip side, Great Waffle. The 8 small pieces of okra kinda made me wonder where is the love? Let's talk meatloaf. Confusing bouquet of flavor but it braised the surface of good, just barely. Mac and Cheese.... Maybe take the imitation cheese, overcooked noodles off the menu. My child wouldn't even touch it which says a lot."

"This place was recommended by a friend. My overall thought was pretty good. The food was well cooked and prepared well. Although I thought the suaces were a bit watered down; but not bad taste! The meat is frozen and shaved very thin, so increase your intake on the meat part; do recommend to add another bowl for an extra $2.00! Well worth it, and decent amount of food, even thou I have to drive 1.5 hrs to get there!"

"Kanpai has been hit or miss for a long time and just isn't worth the risk. They have other Sushi Restaurants that are way more consistent with the food. Went with a this week and place is way too bright (personal dislike) and the Crab Rangoons were good as was some of the other sushi but ordered some Eel Sushi and it was not good, I mean like at all, was grey and nasty. If your product isn't fresh, don't sell it. I would rather hear we are out of something then be served bad quality food. It ruined my dates experience. This is why I stopped going and only returned because my date wanted to go, now probably neither of us will return."

"Stopped here on my way home and glad I did. Small but cozy restaurant with friendly staff. I love Tortas so had to get the Chicken torta and I loved it. A good torta comes down to good bread and the bread was perfect along with a flavorful sandwich. We got a side of guacamole that was chunky and delicious. I wish this spot was in my hometown."
