"If your looking for an authentic German restaurant with fabulous food, great family service and reasonable prices, this would be the place for you. This restaurant is owned and operated by a family to include two sons, one of which waited on us and is obviously proud of the establishment. When we left the parents who we're cooking came out of the kitchen and thanked us. As for the food, they offered an all you can eat selection and the freshly, cooked to order food was delicious. Considering I am a vegetarian, I'm always concerned when I travel to this part of the country but I wasn't disappointed at all. I choose a vegetarian choice with veggies topped with a bit of hollandaise sauce and a fried dead placed on top....perfect! My boys both had a combination of different German prepared meats, potatoes, and finalizing their meal with ice cream. All so good. If the weather permits, you can sit outside or in."

"We celebrated a round birthday with 80 guests and 2 bands. Everything went really great, better than hoped. In advance we changed the menu together. We wanted finger food, because it was the best thing to do with the kind of party we had. We could bring wishes and at the party everything was very delicious. The service was great and attentive. The premises are just right for a party of this size. We danced in the main room and had tables, buffet and standing tables in the tent where it was a little quieter. The bands were very loud, but there were no complaints, neither from the neighborhood nor from the team again thank you for that! ; Super we also found the possibility to celebrate without a predetermined time limit. If we could afford it, we would be celebrating there every year, so we are looking forward to the next round birthday!"

"Even though the hipster-themed restaurant is situated in a quiet area of Gelsenkirchen Altstadt, there is quite a lively, bustling ambience inside. There are a decent variety of gourmet burgers and all of them can be replaced with a tasty, restaurant-tailored vegetarian patty. They are probably the biggest burgers you'll see in Germany! It’s impossible to eat them with your hands; you have to use a knife and fork (so that soul-satisfying feeling of eating with your hands is unfortunately lost). The sweet potato chips were a highlight and they are delicious with the garlic dip."
