"This place was amazing. Perfect for vegans, vegetarians, meat eaters and celiacs alike! Plenty of options that all come snack sized so you can try lots of things! "I have tried 3-4 popular vegan banh mi in hoi an, but this place is the best. come to the third time, the recipe has improved. it makes her banh mi tastes no matter the famous vegan banh mi in nha I had tried before. the stall stands next to the snack bar. the standard price is 10k, but they can pay more for additional filling. the ingredients are not cooked with as much sugar as any other food place in hoi. even though the taste is better if they take not-chili banh mi which they need to remember the owner first. owner is very friendly and can speak English. she has been vegan/vegetarian for 30 years. feel good that I can support for a real vegan business. updated by previous review on 2020-05-05"

"We had the fresh spring rolls (which we have discovered, have the green mango salad and the herbal curry - very simple, but still good in my opinion, especially the mango salad and curry! very friendly owner and made on request a small little fruit plate menu for us."

"This tiny eatery is a little elusive, but it does exist! You won’t find it on Google Maps, but if you search for Holy Land Homestay, the eatery is next door (to the left of the homestay entrance). On our first attempt at about 7pm one night, the eatery wasn’t there and no signage, I think it’s more of a breakfast/ lunch place. As we were staying right nearby, we had another look on a different day at about 12.30pm, and tables had been put out and there was a small sign on the sidewalk. No menu and no English spoken, no problem though! I’m not sure what other things they actually serve, but we ended up going here twice and had the same thing each time. The lady showed us a bowl of plain noodles and we nodded yes, so she prepared us a bowl each with noodles, broth and various vegetables, mock meat, peanuts, tofu, and different add-ins on the side like fresh lime, lettuce, sprouts, soy and chilli sauce. I think the dish we had was mi quang (local noodle dish). Cost was 20,000 dong per bowl which was a good portion size, though my boyfriend went for seconds."

"This place is TOPS. I live in Sydney and have a good authentic Indian go-to there sometimes you just crave it on the road. Dare I say Baba’s was EVEN BETTER. Probably because the herbs and I believe even the cashews are local. Ordered the Navathran (so? korma, veg jalfreezi and a spicy paneer (forget which . Also got the pappadams with the beautiful (complimentary assortment of pickles and chutneys. I’m salivating just reminiscing on this meal! Service friendly too. Beware the spicy is legitimately spicy. SO GOOD!!!"

"We went there three times and the owners were very nice and helpful. Just ask for the vegetarian menu or vegan options and they will help you: the food was amazing and you can observe how they cook. Can't recommend enough a great Vietnamese Street Food experience! and it's really cheap : BUT that's not a totally vegetarian food and drink"

"Whole page of multiple vegetarian options, vegan options are not labelled Lovely atmosphere, full of lanterns In the market part of the restaurant you can chose between a HUGE range of foods and it is as if you’re sitting in a food market/court but it’s table service you order from one big menu. Be aware that some of the dishes are for sharing. I was not warned of this, so as a solo traveller, I ordered 1 noodle dish and it was enough to feed a family of 4! I was slightly irritated that this wasn’t made clear as I sadly ended up wasting a lot of food I would recommend giving this place a go because it’s quite difficult to find veggie food at the night market next door!"

"Best veg food we had so far in Vietnam.It is a tourist dining place,looks fancier, the menu is full of meat options, but the veggetarian/vegan part of menu was quite big, the food looked super nice on plate and was very well seasoned, delicious!
