"Als je gezond en goedkoop wilt eten, loop dan eens over de prachtige campus in Kleve naar de mensa (aan de linkerkant van het Spoykanaal, immer grade aus). De mensa is, de naam zegt het al, de mensa van de hoge school Rhein-Waal. Je mag hier als bezoeker aanschuiven en een plaatsje zoeken tussen de studenten. Voor een eenmalig bezoek kun je contant bij de kassa betalen, maar rekenen ze er 0,50€ bij, je kunt ook een bezoekerskaart kopen voor 5,-€ pfand en daar een tegoed op storten, dit lijkt me alleen handig als je vaker komt eten. Er is elke dag een ander menu, altijd iets vegetarisch en een zeer uitgebreide saladebar, gerechten al vanaf 1,80€.Letop, de mensa is de hele dag geopend, maar voor warme gerechten alleen van 11:30 tot 14:30 en tijdens de semester ferien gesloten."

"Das Mystic Garden Bistro ist fantastisch! Die Mitarbeiter und die Inhaberin sind wahnsinnig freundlich und immer gut gelaunt. Das kleine Bistro hat eine sehr heimelige Atmosphäre und serviert wirklich super leckere Gerichte zu einem tollen Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis. Die Karte wechselt wöchentlich, sodass es nie langweilig wird. Auch der Kaffee und Tee ist sehr lecker. Alles mit Liebe gemacht und das merkt und schmeckt man wirklich. Schade, dass man hier abends nicht essen gehen kann."

"We came here late on a Friday night. the staff was friendly and helpful. we ordered antipasti with pickled seafood and vegetables and mozzarella with tomato. as the main course there was spagetti carbonara with ham. I prefer pacetta or speck, but the pasta was. ."

"We enjoyed a big breakfast over here. There was lots to choose from. And everything tasetd really good. The coffee however was the best, cannot improve on that. The staff was quite friendly to, and the ambiance was lovely. For what the restaurant has to...offer it's an awfully good deal, we will defintely comeback."

"My wife and I ate a pasta chicken and beef respectively. At less than € 10 p.p. I have never eaten such a delicious pasta meal with ample meat inclusive. If I visit Kleve again I will certainly visit this restaurant"

"After a self-designed tour through Zeeland and Flanders we actually wanted to spend a night before traveling home in Nimwegen. In 6 hotels asked, but there were no free rooms anymore, as there was a festival in the city. In short, we drove to Germany because the next day this direction had to be driven anyway. The Navi survey showed Kleve and there we have a room at the Accent Hotel. Unfortunately there was neither restaurant nor bar, so we had to ask. The local Zur Post was recommended to us that only two roads should continue. In fact, we found the house after the road description and went into it. Like a peasant room it mutes and as it was still really warm, we asked for an outskirts. The waiter made us aware that it was a long way to the buffet. We didn't want a buffet. This misunderstanding then clarified when looking at the map, as there were often dishes: salad navch choice from the buffet or something similar. It was late, we were tired and hungry, that really didn't matter. The terrace was an idyllic ambience with wind light and we were not alone here either. The card was extremely loaded as I expected. Sometimes you have to go through as a vegetarian or you have to sleep hungry and thirsty. My companion chose the hunter's carving and I chose the chicken breast fillet grilled with croquets, all in the assumption that this fillet of happy chickens came in an art-friendly attitude now. We agreed with the Carafe White Wine 0.5 liter for 9.80 euros. By the way, the waiter who told us about the salad buffet served us here. He escaped as an attentive host who liked to chat. Our food came after about 30 minutes and I can only say that it is worth waiting. The meat was tender, the food was hot and the sauce was well seasoned. Actually, this typical German food is not as my case as I can give up on sauces, but we were really hungry and have forgotten everything for the last crumb. After that we ordered a carafe of wine as we were assured that the restaurant was always open until 24.00. I prefer Mediterranean with little sauce and no meat, but in this situation we could certainly not go better. The Jägerschnitzle was not too high at 12.50 and my farm was not too high at 12.50 euros."
