"We stumbled upon this place while driving around on a windy, blustry late December day. The waiter was very attentive and we switched to English when we realised she spoke it well.The bread was local and of a home-made style with brown flour. The cheeses on offer were the Island variety and very tasty. Nice local beer too.She recommended a beef and potato dish which turned out to be very filling and delicious. Nice espresso coffee finished off as we had absolutely no room for desert. Doggy bags accompanied us out. Bill was less than 20 Euros each. We left filled, happy and content."

"I am baffled to see all of these 5 star reviews. We came here because of a recommendation and because we read good reviews on tripadvisor. Sadly, our experience here was anything but 5 stars. We opted for just the buffet option (without the extra table side meat service). The service and sangria were nice. However, the food at the buffet was terrible and cold. There were no heaters underneath the chafing dishes to keep them warm. Therefore you had to pay attention to get the food just as it was brought out from the kitchen if you wanted it warm, otherwise it would be cold within 5 minutes. The chicken was so dry and tough, practically inedible. It seemed like it was the grilled chicken from the day before. We also saw the waiter adding warm water to the pasta in order for it to look creamier, while just before that the pasta was cold and dry with hard edges. The buffet was only €12,50 so we obviously didn’t expect a 5 star meal, however this was below our expectations and not even worth the little money."

"Nice and quiet view on the bay (public pool in front, can be loud is pool is full?!)Service is heart fell by owner with nice cheese board as a starter. There is no menu card and the "captain" is service and cooking all alone which might make the whole thing a bit slow. As it was a quiet evening we really enjoyed and Captain took time for a small talk.Recommended dish: local rice-fish pan. Served in a big pot and full of seafood in a red sauce with rice (little sharp)Dessert is pineapple cake made by grantmother of the owner. Very nice!"
