"Visited Lucius recently after previously spotting it whilst driving past. I was tempted by the Gnocchi on the menu. So after finishing a game of tennis popped along there on my own to have a tasty feed. I wasn't disappointed. Quirky but homely design (which...you come to expect from the Blue Mountain guys) and a really welcoming barman/waiter who sat me down towards the front. A restaurant which doesn't seek to hide solo diners always bodes well I think. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. I ordered spicy prawns and a saffron risotto which was lovely..nice plump prawns and a well cooked, flavoursome risotto. Then what I was waiting for..a Buffalo Mozzarella Pizza with extra anchovies and ham. Yum...it was just great and exactly what the doctor ordered. Fresh as a daisy, good tomatoe sauce, milky salty and stringy mozzarella and the anchovies and ham satisfying my carnivorous and pescatorious (sic) desires ! Lovely...so I reluctantly tell you to try it...which means I will then have to fight you for a table...but remember I have a tennis racquet with me ! !"

"Pukka is pukka! we eat there all the time and this is delicious. I'm vegan and the personal will talk happy about the menu that is helpful and very rare! they are more than happy to replace the diary in the currys that I like, and the vegetarian selection is very big definitiw try if they don't already! delicious food and great service while taking and eating!"

"Generous portions. Seafood was fresh. Good selection of tapas and very reasonably priced. The waitress, Chelsea was superb attentive and friendly. Though the live music was entertaining, it was a bit too loud, preventing conversation throughout dinner."

"No thai, no thanks! the restaurant inside is good and that is where it ends. the food did not even serve it from the far Thai.<br/>Ordered massaman curry and tasted nothing like it should. yellow curry came and it was really watery, bland and not taste like a Thai curry at all. not sure what it was, cocos milk based something yellowed with curry powder!<br/>Neither of the dishes were removed sharp. Thai food that is not spicy is not thai.<br/>Duck jump roll were nice, fresh from the freeze but beautiful!<br br/> overall quite expensive for the quality of the food. avoid it."

"I have ordered take away from here for years. My staple dishes are the spicy Singapore noodles and x4 vegetarian spring rolls. On this particular occasion the food was very average. I don't know if it's because I ordered at 4pm opposed to later, but the seasonings and flavourings were just not as they used to be. The noodles were quite bland and had no spice to them at all. I also ordered chicken in satay sauce and the sauce was runny and the chicken not as nice as it usually is. I was very disappointed. I shall however give it one more chance to redeem itself in the future and hope that this was just a fluke."

"This evening we were in the opposite for a late night film and decided to meet a nearby place for a place of dinner. troia appeared in the search with a winning combination of positive reviews and low trips and so it was. troia is located in south bank and offers casual medium seas, is a step upward from the usual chain / tourist eating. we ordered the london set meze 13 p/p), which gave us a cornea of many of their tasty. we were woven by the sheer amount of food, and almost not expected two rounds of food. eleven different dishes made for a crowded table: hummus, casseroles, cooks, dives, falafels; we certainly didn't leave a starving. service was on the side slow(s)...read more"

"Given that it's in the heart of London, for a veggie breakfast, including tea and toast, is pretty good value, I'd say. Quick service, decent sized portions, free sauce (I can't abide paying for a sachet of ketchup) and a nice clean seated...area. What's not to like?"

"My husband and I have been in London for five months, staying in an area called Blackheath. Just down the road is Lewisham, where The Darjeeling restaurant is. In a city with an Indian restaurant every other block, the Darj has some of the most delicious Indian food I've ever eaten. Everything we've had there has been outstanding, from the appetizers (I especially love the Dahl soup) to the currys to the other mains and side dishes. My husband usually orders the Chicken Tikka Masala or the vegetable biryani. I always order the Saag Paneer or a curry dish. Since it is the favorite restaurant of the people we stay with, we all go there often. The ambiance is comfortable, the prices are very reasonable and the staff is wonderfully accommodating and nice. This restaurant is highly recommended!"
