"Don't come to Lorne without visiting Ipsos, an amazing Greek restaurant. My wife & I were blown away by the food, atmosphere & service. We ordered the slow cooked lamb, served with mixed greens and an almond/hummus sauce. Truly amazing; savoured every bite. This restaurant was a highlight of a great holiday exploring Lorne and the great ocean road."

"During a trip along the Great Ocean Road we stopped for lunch at Lorne Central and ordered the catch of the day $35). Catch of the day was barramundi. Fish was perfectly cooked crispy skin and not overcooked meat. Sides of potatoes and tomatoes, creamy spinach wrapped in filo were really tasty. Waited for about 30 mins for the food to be served but was worth the wait."

"Wonderful meal, excellent value for money as the quality of the dishes were outstanding. Also don’t forget to ask what the plat du jour is for main course and dessert, you have to leave room for the latter they were amazing. When I am back in France will be returning and sister (who I dined with and lives here) has already booked a return visit and a room in the hotel."

"It is surprising to read the previous reviews. Either this place is under new management or these customers have very low expectation. Service is slow, unprofessional, the table was dirty, nobody came to clean it up. We tried several times to call the waiter and we eventually left after a while without placing our order as nobody never showed up after a very long time! Please do something else, you are not suited to be in the hospitality business."
