"This is a wonderful little wine bar along the main road leading from the lake to the middle of Meersburg. The owner/manager spent several years in the states at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in New York. Even so, the food offered is very basic (mostly flammkuchen, a sort of German pizza-like pastry). However, the selection of wine is outstanding. The interior is clearly a former wine cellar that offers a great cozy & warm ambiance on chilly evenings. There are also a few tables along the street where you can sit when the weather is warm. This is not a place for dinner, but a GREAT place to taste a variety of locally produced (excellent) wines."

"So scenic and quirky in an absolutely wonderful, intimate restaurant, in the truben offers a small, light menu with a beautiful selection of wines (both local and import,) whisky and a few cocktails. prices is good, service is friendly and really fast to remember, it is. very much a man show and the restaurant was soon really full. beautiful evening, which is highly recommended by them, are on the look for ambiente, a light meal and good weep."
